​@@imali496 it is very very hard to counter grab how it works is you have to both grab eachother at the same time to counter a grab. And its hard to determine when ur opponent will grab you or not

@@imali496 You have to guess, it's not reactable, and if you guess wrong, you take 3x the damage against most characters. So mechanically it's not hard, it's just risky.

@@imali496 No, the window is actually fairly generous. The problem is that a "shimmy" (walking back out of throw range) can bait throw techs, and punish them with 3x to 5x the damage than just taking the throw does. The Ed player in this case just chose to "take the throw" a few too many times, because they were scared of the higher risk option.
