Anyone reading this considering buying a 2013-2015 Malibu should buy one! I can tell you from having a 2013 that this car is solid as a rock. 2013 LT with 2.5 engine. 116,000 miles and everything about the car still drives like new. Try to get one in really good condition that was not a former lease. Make sure you have a warranty or have mechanic check the car first and take a good test drive at all speeds.
Wow I just go this car with a car note my engine light was on but they got it to come back off but came back on now it’s at the shop they did tell me it’s back off again but they have to do more work cause my radio is staying on to long 😩😩
You know, there's a lot of things I can tolerate in the comments that I receive, but making fun of someone's personal appearance (especially on something they can't control) is something that I won't tolerate. I was on a medication (Accutane) that caused my nail beds to dry out and my fingernails became ingrown... It was incredibly painful, so get over it. As for the materials, I have my style and I'll stick to it. Thanks and have a lovely day.
I have to say I agree with you... It's not a bad car, but if I saw a Fusion parked right next to one of these with both cars having their keys available for me to take, I would definitely take the Fusion over this. It just has so much more personality than the Malibu. The Malibu is just a car, but the Fusion is a car that has a lot of style and personality.
I do think it is a very nice car, but I have to say that the Fusion's interior is much better. Many panels inside the Malibu are flimsy whereas those in the Fusion are very rigid. But no doubt this is a nice car, especially compared to the old one!
I don't really think it is that bad. As some have said, this is a "middle of the road" car. It's not a bad car and it's definitely going to be mechanically solid, but it doesn't have enough personality to stand out in the class. The Fusion and even the Accord all have something that makes me DESIRE to have one. But this doesn't have a feature that makes me go "WOW! I really want one of those!"
You missed it. The cup holders lift out for deep storage, another storage to the left of shifter, and visors lift up for more storage, plus backseat armrest.
I agree. It's a big improvement, but still isn't where it needs to be in order to be a huge competitor against the other cars in the midsize sedan segment.
YES! I sat in one yesterday and was completely disgusted with all of the awkward mixture of colors! I would absolutely pick black as my interior color if I had to have one of these.
I did notice when I was at the auto show that the fusion seemed more solid. Plus the fusion does also kick its ass in the fuel economy department. I just don't think Gm cars are as bad as people think.
Me and my fiance are planing on getting this as our 2nd brand new car. We had the Cruz in 2012. . My fiance travels alot for his company since he is the company Trainer and he was wondering how do you think it is on the high way?? (Gas wise) Would this be better then a camero?? He sometimes has to do 100+ miles a day. Every 3/4months when he opens a new store. If you have suggestions on other cars we are welcome to hear it but would like to stay in the Chevy family since we have Great connections.
I think this would be a great highway car! We didn't have it for very long at all, but it served us very well and I'm sure it would him, too! I would say yes, this is better than a Camaro because of practicality.
Again, hope that you don't get one with electrical issues, or else you could be driving along and the car shuts down with no warning. There are a few TH-cam videos that have illustrated that (along with the Cruze)
NIce car. I would say quality wise it's almost as good as the fusion. Maybe the fusion is a bit nicer. The only places the malibu falls short is the gas milage and interior space. Other then that it's a nice sedan from GM. I wonder what the refreshed version will be like though.
Hey guys! I'm getting this car next week and I was wondering if there's anything I should watch out for or cool things about it! But mostly what should I watch out for or be aware of
This is a very nice car, its just that there are overachiever's in the class like the Fusion and Malibu. Heck, if this was out 2-3 years ago, it'd be top in class no doubt. I don't think GM is as bad as everyone says...
I hope the 2015 or 2016 Chevy Malibu keeps it's design just minor edits and additions. HID and LED lights, Addition of TDI and a Hybrid TDI (I bet it would be in the Higher 40 to Lower 50 MPG(e) range or even further)
The one at the DC auto show was nice but I think a colorblind person designed the interior. It was above 4 different shades of brown with this random ass teal stitching on the doors, seats and dash that looked HORRIBLE.
its just fairly boring middle of the road car. MAINLY like most general motors have really been for a while... i mean many dont think of something like a sonic or malibu as class-leading when theres stuff like the fiesta and fusion out. and then japan and germanys offerings are on the table as well. to sum it up, fords kicking chevrolet's ass and even chrysler is holding their own. to me chevrolet still has been relying on the rental lot since 2007
This car honestly blows. It's trying so hard on the outside, it's just wrong on the inside, and there's no comparing the way it drives to an accord or camry . .I'm not joking, but at this point, you could strip all the badges and compare it to a new chinese-built car. . . I'll be able to tell which one is the chevy because it will be the worse of the two. good luck GM but I dont think the core problem is really the car. then again maybe it's all just a conspiracy to sell more Buicks. . .
I'm getting this car soon & I'm excited. This will be my first car & I just can't wait!
I'm sure you're going to love it, Jordyn! It's a very solid car, no doubt.
Hope you don't have electrical issues that have plagued some of these cars.
I get mine on the 27th (my birthday) from CarMax! I'm so exited!
Princess Dory love my 08 plan on. Trading mine in on a 13 or newer soon
I love this car!

Did u get it?
I have a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Lt with 56,800 miles, great car.
I just bought mine today and I love it!

Getting this car on Sunday :)

I'm impressed on this car. Great video!!!!

What’s the difference between eco and LT
Was this version also available as a 6-cylinder?
YES! I sat in one yesterday and was completely disgusted with all of the awkward mixture of colors! I would absolutely pick black as my interior color if I had to have one of these.

thanks wiseguy, i have this car myself and i did not even know that!!!!

Check out 2012 Chevrolet Malibu dangerous electrical problem Any ideas? TH-cam video
Thanks! And nor am I. I think it needs to be more like brushed aluminum or something. I must say, some of the more loaded models are quite nice.
NIce car. I would say quality wise it's almost as good as the fusion. Maybe the fusion is a bit nicer. The only places the malibu falls short is the gas milage and interior space. Other then that it's a nice sedan from GM. I wonder what the refreshed version will be like though.
how many miles can this car last? (if well maintained)
I’d assume it depends on how you drive as well. I’ve heard from a couple people with these generations get an average of 210k on them. Still running.
Hey guys! I'm getting this car next week and I was wondering if there's anything I should watch out for or cool things about it! But mostly what should I watch out for or be aware of
Thanks for pointing that out!

My fiancee's brother in law has one of these, not bad.
I agree completely!
Thank you! It's not bad.
What color is this...

Holden VF Commodore?
Agreed.
I have a chevy malibu 2014 2lt and a honda pilot 2017 and chevy suburban 2014 and a ford f-150 2017
What Rental Company?
i Have one and is 2015 not 2013 just the front changes
if you're from utah, try 93.3 (K-Bull 93)... they're all country
I wish I was from Utah! My family and I were on vacation when I filmed this car.

😍😍😍😍I wanna it.. Un 2019.
Witch means they r front wheel drive cars and havr cv joints big problems
Hertz, I believe.
All above 2014 and 4 cars
Could be. I'm not sure, to be honest.
Having electrical issues almost got killed in this car when it failed
Did you sell it?
Dark grey.
The one at the DC auto show was nice but I think a colorblind person designed the interior. It was above 4 different shades of brown with this random ass teal stitching on the doors, seats and dash that looked HORRIBLE.
Bet these have drive problems down the track
They do
I'm gonna get a malibu lt
No... Two different cars.
This is my nanas car but instead of black it’s white

the fusion is trash
Why? I can't decide between the Malibu and fusion
