@liavang6084 100% soon no one will care to “keep up with the Joneses”, everything will go back to backyard/park weddings. The pandemic, as tragic as that was, showed us it could be done and that we could edit when needed..No one worried about “appearances”. Nothing wrong with Prosecco/Ginger Ale/ Strawberries/Cake! I think it would be super chic! 🥂
I’ve never believed that blowing a huge chunk of cash on one day is smart. Better off having a small intimate wedding just having fun with people you actually like having around, and putting the money towards things that impact on you day to day
Elope, way more fun and exciting, sometimes...take the $30k and pre-pay the kids dentist and college tuition and nobody needs six crock pots from the wedding gifts anyway.
I’m technically a millennial but I’m probably closer to Gen X than millennial. Anyway my wife and I got married in Vegas for something around 500 dollars total which included a post nuptial dinner. YOLO I guess.
Little confused at the reporting here...some of these couples definitely are NOT "millennials" but I get what you are trying to convey. Best part @5:19 WE DID WHAT WAS AUTHENTIC TO US. That will cut cost every time - as many wedding planners seek to fill their portfolios, timelines, clicks per view as well as their pockets with the "trending" wow your guest speech. $69k...😔 Congratulations though! ❤️
Stop having these opulent weddings and focus on the meaning of the day and your life together. Its just a party. Keep it simple and invest that money in a wonderful honeymoon to create memories, and put the bulk remaindet in assets that will yield a RETURN for your future together.
Right. But I’d rather enjoy it marginally throughout the entire of it. I don’t want to front load my joy in my 20s and 30s only to be doing Uber eats at 70
It’s simple. Just don’t have a huge wedding and put the money on a down payment for a home. Smart!!!!

Make parents pay for everything until you are 30, smarter
Weddings are a joke

Wedding is not an asset
(But the relationship is.)
it actually cost very little to JUST get married.
homeless marriages dont last long
Average wedding cost in Tennessee is $69,000?! Wow. Absurd. That supposed to be the cheaper part of the country.
Ffs….no one needs to have a ridiculously huge wedding…or even get married at all🙄

That’s what I just spent and I got married a couple of weeks ago.
@@faerierosepress4133 I will buy you a beer or two with all the money I saved if you are ever in Vegas. I’ll bring the wife too!
what a waste of money on wedding... especially half the people will end up divorce
another reason why millennials will not get married the cost of weddings.
Well that's fine.
I've been with my boyfriend for 21 years. We don't need the paperwork 🚫
Lol, you do know a wedding is optional, right? I’m a millennial, but I spent $75 for my wedding. Just go to the courthouse.😂
@@SUGAR_XYLER😢😮
@@sapphirelane1714What did you do after the courthouse wedding?
There's something mentally wrong with those women, where are their husband?
I thought that the media told us that inflation is going way down?🤔

Get married and do the wedding you'd love to have...this is the only life you'll have
