YES. i review these edits in frame.io before we publish so i can leave comments and stuff, and when i saw those little tool tips pop up, i was like yeaaaaoooowww! i was so happy. i gotta shout out john picklap and the patreon video team. such a good idea.
Those 30 min went by flying! I've been following Daniel ever since he was under 100k, and it was so interesting hearing about what he goes into making his videos. He's just always had such a consistency to his comedy sketches, and it's incredible that even with a team of 6, that his videos still feel like when I first started watching them (that's a good thing, cause MAN is that man a comedy genius!) Love the way you interviewed Daniel, it just felt like 2 friends having a conversation about stuff they genuinely love. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for this lovely piece of content ❤
It's really interesting seeing the creative process of another sketch creator! I learned a few tips from this that I'll definitely keep in mind moving forward with my own content. This was such a well edited and put together interview, Amazing job!!
*you know when someone is a true artist, they share who inspires them. when i see creators who with hold their inspirations, i know they are just copying them.. you do a great job jack with bringing us true artist... creators.... thank you! please keep this up It inspires*
Daniel is such a talented creator and this was such a great insight into his crazy mind and processes while creating his sketches. The questions were great and provided a lot of information, while still showing Daniel's craziness. 😂 Thanks for the great video! It was a lot of funning watching the two of you interact!
This was super fun to watch Jack and Daniel developed such a good rapport it was like watching two friends talk and goof around about stuff they love. I remember finding Daniel during his piano guy stage, I’m a huge music nerd so i loved that but I hope him the best with his comedy career dude is mad talented.
as a pianist i had the same experience finding him. for a little while he was just the 'cute piano guy' to me that i watched casually cause he filled a great niche for me lol, as he's broadened i've subbed and really become a fan. its cool to see how far hes come :) sketch comedy has had a lot of ups and downs on youtube and im glad to see him keep at it !!
wow literally thank you so much for making this! As a person who wants to get into film making, it's so COOL seeing the process behind it! (even if it's just skits)
Daniel is truly hilarious! Thanks for showcasing him, Jack. Now, on a sidenote: please forgive my ignorance, but Jack, aren't you part of Pomplamoose? And aren't you behind Artstorefronts, too? Thanks for the videos!
❤'Do what you are good at and pair it with what people tell you objectively you are good at' That was so useful! This interview is gold! I don't know if you planned ahead to sit alongside Daniel to review his own behind the scenes because of his ADHD!!! I know as an ADHDer myself that you would keep me invested by doing so❤ I LOVE DANIEL SPELLCASTING CRAFT❤❤❤❤
31:00 you know what, serving comedian musician Daniel? You are a Bard, that's what you are, you are humble enough to channel down the secret there is in life. holy mother!
@danielthrasher So it's been only a few months that I've discovered Daniel's channel but I have binge watched all of his videos, and vlogs, and it sounds weird but I feel like I've known him from the beginning and followed his journey and I'm just so fucking proud of him right now. His videos are my favourite thing to watch, ever, so much that every time I open TH-cam one of his old/new videos is suggested at the very top. Idk if Daniel sees this comment, but, you definitely do make my brain squirt its best fluids 😂 and those fluids are very addictive and makes me come back and watch every video at least 4 times... And the fluids have made me buy a tiny midi keyboard and learn a few jingles... I suck at it, but thank you!!
I would expect nothing less from Daniel Thrasher than ending on a squirt xD joke aside, it's inspiring to see that creative people see their creations as a service to others. It really is. And it's a fantastic "why" to have.
Great interview as usual! Also huge props for mentioning Simon Sinek! Love that dude! I’ve enjoyed Daniel’s content for years. Great creator and funny skits. Didn’t realize he’s so professional with his language and systems. Kinda makes sense though with how much content he puts out so fast.
Wtf I just read the announcement from Daniel about this video and thought "damn how funny is that coincidence, Jack conte is the name of a dude that makes awesome bangers on his soundboard." - turns out that those are the same person.
Hey Jack, could you get Steven He on the channel to educate us about sound fx, music, etc. it would be greatly helpful. and thank you for your amazing work.
Thanks for having me on, Jack! So much fun!
Woah! ITS THE MAN HIMSELF
What's the show!??? 😊😊
Never mind but Daniel keeps descending further into insanity and we all are here for it 🤣😭💀
THANK YOU for hanging with me, Daniel!! I freaking loved talking with you and learning about your process.
Oh man, wrote down so many nuggets from this, thanks to both of you!
Daniel is a Genius. extraordinary entrepreneurship that the audience rarely see as well
He's the opposite of a FAILURE!
Thanks for the short explanations when these terms pop up in the corner of the video. Really bumps up the quality! Great video!

all of the "fancy" terms hes using really shows how dedicated he is to this. way to go
jack conte is such a silly guy, I love him sometimes I throw a png of him in the corner of my patreon content and nobody has said a word
screen shot or it didn't happen.

Great interview and nice to have a sneak peak of the creative process behind the fluid squirting sorcery 😂
This was great to hear what a top comic on TH-cam has to say

One of the most inspiring piece of internet ever made. Thank you.
If Daniel Thrasher collabs with Scary Pockets I'd actually cry! Two of my favorites on TH-cam!!!
This is such a wonderful interview. Such great questions, I love when you can tell how much fun they’re having in the interview
Absolutely the best interviewer ever. You’re such a fantastic creator I sometime forget your the founder of Patreon.

I've learned SO much from this man. Grateful for his existence.
love you both, guys, thank you a lot
I loved every minute of that.
@DanielThrasher is hilarious! Thanks for this!
I love his videos so freaking much
Awesome!
1.) "at a people" is definitely my new favorite way to say "crowd/group"
2,) 31:39 i think thats closer to bardic magic, not arcane or wizard magic
I need the rest of this video 😂
I'd love to see you interview Ryan George one day, I really like your style!
If he ever got on tv, his comedy would become 100x stronger. Im sorry Jim Carrey, but we may have someone who can beat you.
The both of you deserve more followers
YOOOO JACK CONTE AND DANIEL THRASHER IN THE SAME ROOM
So insightful!!
Wtf I just read the announcement from Daniel about this video and thought "damn how funny is that coincidence, Jack conte is the name of a dude that makes awesome bangers on his soundboard." - turns out that those are the same person.
The 180 rule is the there/they're/their of videomaking. People do it because it gets attention.
Two words: funny
“Ending on a squirt” sent me 😂💀
"Actually there are SIX PEOPLE on his team producing a full schedule of his sketch comedy and piano videos. They are all played by Daniel Thrasher."
Hahaha you've made me squirt 😂 F-ing wizards 😂
Hey Jack, could you get Steven He on the channel to educate us about sound fx, music, etc. it would be greatly helpful. and thank you for your amazing work.
That was a treat. (Thanks Jack!)
Awesome
We also have one bb ki vines.India. and thank you for getting danial here. Thank you
Man I miss balloon shop
Daniel Thrasher is just Joe Hawley if he played piano instead of guitar and did sketch comedy.
Pret*ty good
