Gosh, the people in the recordings talked so fast with Australian accent & slang, and I had a hard time to understand the words😅. I thought some words just didn't make sense, until I asked another friend who had been living in Australia😆
I thought I was on lando's side but once I heard Daniel/aus had the word lollipop (and weren't just using lolli for both), I switched over lol. Sweets (UK) = lollies (aus) = candy (usa), but lolipops are lolipops. And yes, haribo is too broad for "gummy bears" since they also have the peaches and colas and all
This friendship between them has turned out to be a lot more awkward than we all thought it would. They were a lot more friendlier when they were on different teams. Lando is a lot more cautious around Daniel. Maybe he doesn't want to get too friendly & lose the competitive edge.
I think Lando feels its his team and wants to assert himself. He probably worries that Daniel will take that from him but being micro agressive or hostile to Daniel will only hurt him. Daniel is a proven race winner and can teach him a few things, but nope.
