guh Uhhh top tier? Hard disagree there. Running explosive bolts is a must which slows down the bolt velocity so much that it doesn’t make it very viable in a lot of situations. And even if you have great aim, the bolt doesn’t always go where you aim. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy using it from time to time and it’s definitely not terrible by any means, but it’s too inconsistent to be top tier.

So technically, a better aiming stability on any gun actually helps with your recoil pattern because there should be a reduced random variance to the pattern. Please do look at this because there is still a debate going on in some forums and servers about Tac Laser and the Aiming stability affecting recoil.
I was skeptical about this, too. From very early on, Ace said idle sway (aiming stability) gets completely thrown out the window once you start firing your gun. Yea, I have tested it on most guns too, M4, Kilo, Bruen, FiNN, M91, PKM, Grau, I've used em all without or with Tac Laser and I find that its always i put Tac Laser with them that I can beam anyone more easily.

I'm working on getting Damascus but don't even have a single platinum and man it sure is a grind lol those mounted kills on assault rifles are a real pain 😂😂
Din Djarin mounted kills are dumb easy. You should be able to get all the mounted kills and long shots at the same time if you go in hardcore shoothouse and just mount on the wall that your getting the long shots from.
True. I tried it on shipment, someone threw a smoke and I could hold fire into the smoke for as long as the smoke lasted... If all you need is to deny an enemy access to an area, it's a beast.
Just so you know, idle sway/aiming stability affects all shots, not just first shot accuracy. So increasing aiming stability will make the recoil much more consistent and stable, which is why the tactical foregrip was even created, and why the commando foregrip is so good.

Definitely could be placebo. But I saw ace’s base video (reveal) before I unlocked the finn, so I always knew the headshot multiplier thing when using it. Noticed quicker headshot kills when using the ct rounds. Could be wrong, just wondering if it was checked out.

There is something you missed. With the chainsaw stock, the Adverse Longshot Barrel has lower hip fire accuracy than all of the other barrels. I can't see a difference in spread when you are ADSing, but the hip fire is noticeably larger.

I'm really glad you decided to include how the compensator + Tac laser decrease the amount of spread. I experimented with this in custom games shooting at walls and wanted to confirm I wasn't just seeing things.

I can’t believe ace missed this. Equipped with the non-chainsaw stocks, the ridiculous sprintout time + open bolt delay makes this gun unusable for me. Absolute garbage in HC especially. All sprintout times need to be reduced by 100-150ms and open bolt delays need to go.
As much as I've been seeing this gun in Shipment, the open bolt delay makes the FiNN unreliable for me. This is the reason you don't see LMGs used more commonly in MW, aside from 60 round mag ARs too.
i think the open bolt delay at 60fps is not there. i asked ace on twitter and he said he cant measure anything at 60fps. if you play on pc then yea maybe.
The open bolt delay is 4 frames (at 60fps) on all open bolt weapons in the game; whatever testing method Ace uses, it's flawed. Given ADS times are always much longer than 4 frames, it really doesn't matter in the slightest, just hit the fire button slightly sooner.
Man I absolutely love this gun. Other TH-camrs trash it, thanks for giving honest review and load out options. Wish the game itself told us how barrels affect range etc like you do!
It may be deliberate so they can add more dmg to the upper torso to help with the gameplay of the chainsaw attachment, so it doesn't suck when you can't be as accurate
The FiNN already has a good enough TTK. Maybe give it a slight headshot multiplayer so going for headshots would be incentivized but not ridiculous like the FAL.
This weapon was really fun to get gold, it took me 2 days without trying that hard to get it (Chainsaw version instead of the competitive option) The worst part was the leveling Up, but that's why Co-Op exist

I'm loving this Chainsaw. My first match, after unlocking the stock, was "in progress" and my team was losing. I dropped 10, before the enemy team quit. 😂😂😂

Like did they say, "hmm players are definitely gonna go for -25 percent on range for a nearly insignificant benefit, but if they want they can get the exact same thing, but with an +8 percent range buff/extra bullet velocity. Is that unbalanced? Nah, definitely a decent and fair tradeoff."

Do you plan on covering old weapons that have gotten extreme changes? Like, Model 680, the FAL, the Dragunov with it's buffs making it a (potential S tier weapon in the right hands) much better weapon, etc.
I think they should've given the base FINN a headshot multiplier because it's performance in WZ is fairly lackluster without the adverse barrels. They should keep the adverse barrels the way they are however without the headshot multiplier.

I have the same warzone build as him but I use the commando foregrip instead of the 100 belt mags. I feel like 75 is plenty of ammo and the extra bit of stabilization is nice.

I am not an LMG person but I got Damascus ion this last night and I had a lot of fun with it. I have yet to use the chainsaw attachment but I will try it out to night. Great vid as always and honestly I didn’t notice how long the vid was because of all the info packed into it.
Is the 5MW laser not available for the FINN? I would think that would be the laser we would want to use for it while in the chainsaw setup since that laser helps the most with hip fire accuracy.
I don’t know Ace, the base ROF and the ChainSAW attachment work really well together. I personally tried to replicate this photo of the ChainSAW (see here: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/guns/images/d/db/KAC_ChainSAW.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110503172610) and have found great success with it. I run the XRK Pro Twist, Tactical Suppressor, 100 Round 5.56 NATO Belt, the ChainSAW grip, and the Tac Laser.

There is something you missed. With the chainsaw stock, the Adverse Longshot Barrel has lower hip fire accuracy than all of the other barrels. I can't see a difference in spread when you are ADSing, but the hip fire is noticeably larger.

I'm really glad you decided to include how the compensator + Tac laser decrease the amount of spread. I experimented with this in custom games shooting at walls and wanted to confirm I wasn't just seeing things.

I mentioned this once before on a previous GG, but if you could just display or mention what level you need to reach to fully unlock the gun setup, it would go a long way for us that have a ways to go to reach it.

But it has an open bolt delay? It makes TTK slower, when I thought about it I stopped using it, this delay makes TTK at least slower by 50ms.

I can’t believe ace missed this. Equipped with the non-chainsaw stocks, the ridiculous sprintout time + open bolt delay makes this gun unusable for me. Absolute garbage in HC especially. All sprintout times need to be reduced by 100-150ms and open bolt delays need to go.
As much as I've been seeing this gun in Shipment, the open bolt delay makes the FiNN unreliable for me. This is the reason you don't see LMGs used more commonly in MW, aside from 60 round mag ARs too.
i think the open bolt delay at 60fps is not there. i asked ace on twitter and he said he cant measure anything at 60fps. if you play on pc then yea maybe.
The open bolt delay is 4 frames (at 60fps) on all open bolt weapons in the game; whatever testing method Ace uses, it's flawed. Given ADS times are always much longer than 4 frames, it really doesn't matter in the slightest, just hit the fire button slightly sooner.

It may be deliberate so they can add more dmg to the upper torso to help with the gameplay of the chainsaw attachment, so it doesn't suck when you can't be as accurate

The FiNN already has a good enough TTK. Maybe give it a slight headshot multiplayer so going for headshots would be incentivized but not ridiculous like the FAL.

This weapon was really fun to get gold, it took me 2 days without trying that hard to get it (Chainsaw version instead of the competitive option) The worst part was the leveling Up, but that's why Co-Op exist

I'm absolutely loving it. Haven't gotten the chainsaw attachment but I thoroughly enjoy switching the barrel depending on the situation. It allows for so much versatility

As soon as I got this gun unlocked it quickly became my favorite lmg and one of my favorite guns in the game.
Ya'll ever wonder what the devs were thinking when they made the suppressors? Like did they say, "hmm players are definitely gonna go for -25 percent on range for a nearly insignificant benefit, but if they want they can get the exact same thing, but with an +8 percent range buff/extra bullet velocity. Is that unbalanced? Nah, definitely a decent and fair tradeoff."

I think they should've given the base FINN a headshot multiplier because it's performance in WZ is fairly lackluster without the adverse barrels. They should keep the adverse barrels the way they are however without the headshot multiplier.

I have the same warzone build as him but I use the commando foregrip instead of the 100 belt mags. I feel like 75 is plenty of ammo and the extra bit of stabilization is nice.

it has just enough "Up-sides" to offset the "downsides", and give you options for more than one play style..
seeing this in MP a lot, dont have a WZ loadout yet, but, knowing about the "hidden buff" with Stopping power,, oh man... ive avoided those like the plague... so a great "find"..

Is the 5MW laser not available for the FINN? I would think that would be the laser we would want to use for it while in the chainsaw setup since that laser helps the most with hip fire accuracy.

I don’t know Ace, the base ROF and the ChainSAW attachment work really well together. I personally tried to replicate this photo of the ChainSAW (see here: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/guns/images/d/db/KAC_ChainSAW.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110503172610) and have found great success with it. I run the XRK Pro Twist, Tactical Suppressor, 100 Round 5.56 NATO Belt, the ChainSAW grip, and the Tac Laser.

The adverse barrels also catch on fire after a long burst for a little bit. You'll really notice it during reloads and on darker maps.

Does the sniper scope do anything with the chainsaw version of the gun? Like extends the damage range or makes the grouping of your shots tighter?

I won in warzone with your same setup except I had the ct 100 round wich I will be changing asap after watching this. Not to downplay driftor but this video was better to follow due to the content being so in depth. You broke it down very nicely. I love this gun
