    James White is the only Christian apologetic that accurately understands Islam. I highly respect him and trust his lectures on other religions for better educating myself.
    Most Christian apologetics seem more focused on making sure non-muslims stay away from Islam (by teaching inaccurately, even hateful things) than actually having a healthy interaction with Muslims. For this, I highly respect White and enjoy listening to his lectures and debates

      @Mohammed Hijab Out of all Christian apologetics, he seems to be the only one who actually attempts to learn and understand Islam from an Islamic perspective. You will find God if you seek Him with all your heart. Read the bible consistently, pray for forgiveness, and ask for reconciliation from God by accepting Jesus Christ sacrificial death on the Cross. If you did all that with Repentance, you then now have a Faith-Covenant with God -- thru Christ Jesus -- the blood of the New Covenant. Reply to@@argusalgerie2358- "where is the Aramaic bible?" You could stop by Religious book stores and see if they sell them in that language and good to also check your neighborhood library -- ask at the desk if you need additional help. King James is widely known as the original spoken language of the bible and you could still buy them even online and book stores. If you should travel soon to Armenia, there you could buy for sure the holy bible in that language. In retrospect, the "gospel" is the New Testament, not the Old Testament, and the New International Version (NIV) is a great copy for everyday comprehension and easy read. The reason I say this is that after just going through the lockdowns and vaccine debate, and all that entails, I saw many brothers and sisters having no problem sharing their opinion and "facts" that they believed.

      @@Faith-Ministries We don't know if it was actually Lucifer, it could have been one of his high ranking angels such as the Prince of Persia, or possibly a demonic Prince of Arabia. From both biblical and non-biblical sources, we can gather that there is a hierarchy based on earthly territory.
      We do know that Satan has his angels and ministers (false prophets) they pretend to be righteous and "light workers" but they preach a different gospel. Let them be accursed.

    • @Theprincessinyellow
      @Theprincessinyellow 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@AC-mp7cx Jesus’ life occurred in the 1st century. The biblical writers were people who either walked with Jesus as his students or people who were alive at the same time and wrote down what eye witnesses told them. These people wrote down many things that show Jesus claiming to be God, which is why they put him on the cross in the first place. They said it was blasphemy for Him to claim to be God in the way that he did.
      Then in the 7th century, a man who was not a reliable source to the events in Jesus’ life because he wasn’t there and he’s from a different part of the world tells the people around him that all those eye witnesses are wrong, that Jesus never claimed to be God, etc.
      If I wrote a book about my mother’s life it would be a much more reliable source than someone over 600 years later from a different country who writes down something different about her and says what I wrote is wrong and she was actually not my mother, just a close friend.

    • @Theprincessinyellow
      @Theprincessinyellow 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AC-mp7cx This is an example that I’m referring to. This is in the gospel of Mark when they brought Jesus before their leader to crucify him
      Mark 14:60-64
      “Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” 61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
      62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
      63 The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. 64 “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?”
      They all condemned him as worthy of death.
      This event was recorded by people who were there and alive at the time, able to talk to others about what they heard and saw for years after it all happened. For the Jews, they knew that Jesus claiming to be the messiah was one thing but to then add to it that He would be coming with the clouds of heaven and sitting at the right hand of the mighty one meant that he was claiming divinity. We see this in the Old Testament which are Jewish scriptures.
      When Jesus said this, he was making reference to the vision from a prophet hundreds of years beforehand about the messiah in Daniel 7:13-14:
      I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.
      However the Quran tells us that out of Jesus’ own mouth has said that he is only a prophet
      “(Jesus said), “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.” [Noble Quran 19:30]
      The Bible and Quran can’t both be true and trustworthy because they disagree on who Jesus is. So I guess it’s hard for me to understand how the 1st hand witnesses aren’t to be trusted on what they have seen and heard. I don’t mean to be rude or anything, it’s just never made sense to me

      You're missing the point the trinity is one. When God made you in his image, it was in this way. Jesus is the body representation, the father the mind, and the holy spirit is the spirit. All existing as one. You are not You're body but it is a portion of you. I hope this helps you understand what the trinity is as God has revealed. This is the image, not just the three dimensional representation we see but it transcends all dimensions in this manor.

      @@heartsonfire2458 continuation as in having the same stories like Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses etc so if we rlly quoting something then it would be the Torah/ Jews since they said it first. There are many verses that point to corruption in the previous books of God for example “So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from God ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn” this is talking about Jews and Christians. None of these passages tell us directly but Islamic scholars argue about which parts Muslims should take and which parts are corrupt. We don’t take most of it due to it being written by many people who we don’t recognise like John, Paul etc. It’s hard to understand for some Christians but we take authenticity really serious that’s why the Quran has been unaltered and no one writes other versions.

    What is ironic about the Christian belief in the trinity is that even if you leave Islam out of it logically it’s a direct contradiction. How do you explain Jesus who is a 💯% man 💯% god? Also, Christians say Jesus is God, the farther is God, the holy spirt is God but yet there is not 3 god but 1 god? Then to they say the farther is a person, Jesus is a person and the Holy Spirit is a person in the God head which equals 3? Lool using the same logic it should mean 1 person.

    • @reformedwretch2071
      @reformedwretch2071 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You got it all wrong, and you clearly haven't paid attention nor studied about the Trinity nor about the hypostatic union.
      I do agree that saying that Jesus is 100% God and 100% man is confusing because if you're 100% of one thing, you can't be 100% of another thing. The best to understand the hypostatic union (Jesus' two natures) is with the terms "truly God and truly man." Jesus has been God for eternity, but He took on humanity to live a perfect live, become the perfect sacrifice, die on the cross and rise from the dead. He added humanity to Himself. “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”
      ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:5-8‬
      Jesus added humanity to Himself. He isn't 200% of mixture between deity and humanity. He is truly God and truly man.
      When it comes to the Trinity, I see where your confusion would come from because you have clearly not understood the Trinity correctly. Yes, we Christians believe that the Father is God, the Son (Jesus) is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. Why are they not three Gods? Because the distinction between person and being answer that question. Let me give you this example: I am a human being, you are a human being. We share the same essence of being, but we are different persons. You are not me and I am not you, yet we are both humans. God is beyond us and any analogy with any creature will eventually break down, but this example is not bad. In the one being of God, there exists eternally and co-equally the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Not three Gods, but one God, being essentially the same, sharing all the attributes, but subsisting in three persons. The categories of being and person are not arbitrary nor invented, they are necessary and Biblical.
      I hope this helps.

    As believers, we do not need to defend the scriptures. Apologetics is not needed to enlighten unbelievers, but believers can benefit from apologetics. What works best in the mission field is faith in an unchanging text.
    When the Muslim comes with their hard questions, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to them. If they reject the gospel, which they almost always do, bid them farewell and move on. We are warned to avoid foolish questions, genealogies and contentious strivings about the law. Why then do such apologists as James White teach otherwise? Dr White has said that the KJV could not stand scrutiny in the apologetics arena. That is not true! I have ministered to Muslims, JWs and Mormons for over 30 years, using the time tested and faithful text of the KJV.
    Now before you all come out with clubs, trying to bash my KJVO stance, you need to know that I am not KJVO! I am KJV 1st, and I use no other version when preaching or teaching. A Muslim will respect a strong faith over a confused one. If your faith is unshakeable, they have no ground to stand upon. Remember Jesus words in Matthew 7:24-25 when he said that the house built upon the rock will not be shaken.
    Folks, the modern critical text is ever changing, but the text of the KJV will never change. I know that the rock is Jesus, but his word must be trustworthy. If you bring an NASB into the apologetics arena, some of my Muslim friends would eat you up. The NASB has gone thru 12 revisions. How many more before they get it right? For this preacher, there is no debate. If you want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth…get a KJV Bible.

      Okay Mr “unshakable” belief in the KJV. I’d like to know if you believe 1 John 5:7-8 are from God. These are the verses I’m referring to:
      7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
      8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

    Sorry Mr James but all what you've done now, is putting yourself in a more contradictories creed, and a very ambarassing state, first how dare you pretend to obtain a new beliefs that all christians since centuries doesn't share with you, nor the modern christians, and let's admit that, that your actual belief is the real christian one, how a God can die? Is it a real death or a another death? If it's not death, than we are talking about playing a game, playing a role, and that is completely foolish, God and his majestieous moral don't play a game, that will lead to a complete chaos and a disorder that doesn't fit the God personality and what he has created as huge and a complex universe and earth and other things.
    Now, if he has die, a real death than he becames a mortal and who has resurrect him will be the only one and a true God, elsewhere you will lost all your Gods, because the one who is died cannot resurrect himself.
    Also if there is father and son, then it must be a time before that son existed, so if it so it will never be a God because he was created after a while.
    Secondly, by the Quran the one who was killed on the cross, doesn't merit to be known especially if he was a traitor, the true reality which is important that Jesus PBUH was not killed even caught by the Romains soldiers, ALLAH doesn't let such a terrific and terrible thing happens to his beloved slave Jesus.
    Thirdly how such a pointless creed can be accepted by you, in which we need to sacrifice a (God) to make a salvation, a powerful God doesn't need that, a powerful God simply gives forgiveness to anyone without conditions, because he is a creator of everything, so he doesn't obey to anything, he is the maker of everything.
    And if Jesus is the creator of everything than what's the point of the existence of the father this is pointless. And remark by claiming this mean that there are more than one God regarding the Christianity teaching and creed.
    Last and not least, the alterations on the books that preceded the Quoran is a reality, I have heard you arguing about that several times, you know well that you Christians you don't posses the genuine Gospel, so how you dare that you posses the reality, all what you have are a stories of astray people who wrote papers and been gathered on what you call Bibles, you don't have any trusted source, the twisted reality and fake stories can also been transferred and transmitted to several generations that doesn't mean they are true, look at the Buddhist stories and books for example.
    So for that the Quran has been revealed including a self tests, or auto tests inside him to prove that it's correct and a genuine one and original, between those tests I quote for example the famous and strong one, it's where the Quran defy the original Arabs to bring something like the Quran and simply they didn't and they can't, known that they were the most knowing people about there language.
    After all I invite you Mr James and any Truth seekers to embrace Islam, and to save yourselves before it will be too late.

      As a Muslim, I definitely disagree with many of the things James white says when talking about Islam. I would say however that he does acurately define what Muslims believe, and he doesn't spread mis-information about the beliefs of Muslims. At the same time, I see issues, and inconsistancies in many of his criticisms of Islam, but that's not surprising. I also see inconsistancies in his defence of things like the Trinity, and the Bible's reliability.
      But at the end of the day, I would be more than happy to speak and converse with someone like James. He is a gentle, and upright person, and is is not out to spread hate, rather he seeks to respectfully dialogue with those he disagrees with.
