If someone had told me that I could create something this beautiful before watching this video, I don't think I would have believed them, but this vid was so easy to follow even for a beginner like me!
i was always hesitant on learning how to read patterns because it seemed so complicated but omg im so glad i stumbled upon this video. it taught me how to read patterns. thank youuu
What a sneaky way to teach pattern reading, lol!!!! Brilliant! Ive now got a super cute bandana and I learned how to read patterns. Thank you so very much for this🧡 It was so fun to make.
I literally started crocheting two days ago and i can say that i really love this video. At first i wasn’t gonna try cause the comments led me to believe that it was hard to follow but i tried anyways and honestly it was pretty easy to follow ( there was one moment where she didn’t give directions but it wasn’t complicated and the pattern kinda speaks for itself so it was easy to figure out, there was one part where i think she accidentally typed 5 dc instead of 2 but i just followed what she did and i was okay) this video actually really helped me understand patterns as well, or at least basic patterns. Once she did the 8 rows of demonstration it was kinda nice to be left to fend for myself for the rest, looks really complicated but it’s not.
thank you so much for this gorgeous pattern! It was my first time reading a pattern like this and i found it super fun and easy to crochet. The speed of your demonstration of the stitches in the beginning was perfect! Much Love xx
Thanks for the very detailed tutorial. I can learn how to read the chart better from this video. It looks like it’s complicated but it is not, the patterns actually repeat so once I understand the chart/patterns, I can finish my project really fast. I am so happy with the result. Thank you again!❤
Such a pretty pattern. Thank you for posting it. I’m in the process of trying to make one. Is there a specific brand of 1mm yarn that you can recommend? The smallest I can find is 2 (50grams)
i think this has got to be the best bandanna pattern ive seen yet! thanks for this beautiful pattern, i now have a personalised bandanna that goes perfectly with one of my summer outfits ! :3
Awesome thank you for creating an informative video lesson . I found the pattern in the right hand corner with arrows alongside with the clear visual made it very beginner friendly. Look forward to seeing more lessons.
This is not a tutorial for bandana, this is a tutorial for pattern reading 😅 lol I did not expect I would learn to read this kind of pattern haha I have been pushing it away not until this video came. Nonetheless, the tutorial is kinda fun to follow 🎉
Hello! I love this pattern :) I made a few of these and I’d like to post them on my ig account but I want to make sure to give you credit! The Instagram account in your bio isn’t showing up for me, what account can I tag you with?
If for some odd reason you skip the intro and use a 4.5 instead of the 2.5 AND Lilly sugar and cream yarn instead of weight 1 you can make a cute summer top might need some pasties tho lol
This is definitely not a tutorial for beginners, but once you have the right amount of knowledge, this comes out almost naturally. I have made 3 bandanas at the moment, and one was for my precious Brunni! (my dog 😂) Don't give up if something doesn't feel right the first time, keep trying!

If you could hb written numbers at side of each rows in the diagram...it would be great coz i hb to count the numbers again n again.....btw thanks for the pattern its really nice ....
When you chain, you can see how many stitches you need to skip on the bottom row, aka how many double crochet stitches on the row below, that will be under the chain stitches. Hope that helps

Is anyone else struggling to read the pattern diagram? I didn't realize it wasn't a full tutorial before I started or else I probably wouldn't have started it. It's absolutely stunning and I'd love to finish it, but I'm struggling.
It really sucks that u stopped in the middle and said follow the diagram. I don't understand that. I'm so pissed that u left me flat. I have to rip it out and find another video where the person does the entire scarf!!!!!😱
Was such a good tutorial at first until you stopped not even half way threw and put a map in there for people like me that are beginners i can’t really read maps yet so now I have to find a whole new video with someone that actually completes the whole project absolutely disappointing but cute bandana if you can read a crochet map
probably cause this isn't for beginners. i also tried this some time ago and gave up cause i couldn't understand anything. i've crocheted a lot since then, and after watching and understanding the diagram pattern shown along as they crochet, i finally can read the diagram and actually find it much easier than written patterns.
@@AH-wp7lware you a beginner? sadly this isn't the video for you then, i also tried this out a long time ago and gave up cause i couldn't get it. but now i understand much more. try to follow along the video AND the diagram pattern shown, then you'll understand what they're doing and why. you'll get it after some time like i did.
Looking at the diagram can be confusing. the little ovals or circles are chain stitches and the taller ones with two lines going through them are double crochet stitches.if u go to 12:11 u can see how the diagram starts to how the flower pattern it’s tricky to work at first but like the other people said with more experience learning patterns it gets easier to understand
It is quite easy. The pattern repeats so you really just have to follow the first few rows of the tutorial. The diagram helps to know how many stitches and where to place them.
Your tutorial was sort of hard to follow And not everyone can read patterns If you could please be considerate and include a voice over or descriptive instructions in your tutorials, it would go a long way Thanks 👍
countless videos watched to learn how to do a magic ring and it never clicked til I saw this one. Thank you for teaching me. This is a beautiful pattern and as a beginner it made me feel like I'm a pro, I got my life together and all my debts are paid.
At about 5:06 the 5dc is supposed to be 2dc in the chain space in case anyone got it wrong. Dw it’s not you lol
Thank you for your correction! sorry for the typo
@@cloudpusher1792 no worries! Thanks for the pattern. I just finished making one and it looks lovely💗
I kept on getting it wrong and i restarted 3 times from scratch thinking I was making a mistake 😭😭 thank you so much

When you chain, you can see how many stitches you need to skip on the bottom row, aka how many double crochet stitches on the row below, that will be under the chain stitches. Hope that helps

probably cause this isn't for beginners. i also tried this some time ago and gave up cause i couldn't understand anything.
i've crocheted a lot since then, and after watching and understanding the diagram pattern shown along as they crochet, i finally can read the diagram and actually find it much easier than written patterns.
Your tutorial was sort of hard to follow
And not everyone can read patterns
If you could please be considerate and include a voice over or descriptive instructions in your tutorials, it would go a long way
Thanks 👍
countless videos watched to learn how to do a magic ring and it never clicked til I saw this one. Thank you for teaching me. This is a beautiful pattern and as a beginner it made me feel like I'm a pro, I got my life together and all my debts are paid.
Pro or beginer, we are all players, hope u enjoyed while making it. And thank u for ur comment
