I work at that exact Nike and the guy you’re talking about is my brother. We are required to stand there with the customer in view when they are trying on an expensive shoe like that. It wasn’t anything personal! We don’t keep them out because people steal no matter how big or small the price tag. Trust me, it makes us uncomfortable too just watching someone try shoes on. But it’s what our managers tell us to do! Glad you’re happy with your purchase!

Sup mike, I use to work at Nike. It’s policy now. They not supposed to leave any shoes with the customer that is considered HEAT! So they are supposed to stay with the customer the entire time. I use to hate having to go in the back or in the Manager office to get some J’s or foams. Trust me, most Nike employees don’t want to do that but they have been told they have to keep an eye on the product. It started in my store about 6 months ago.
Port City facts same with footlocker employees they make us stay with and aggravate the fuck out of customers when we don’t want too they usually get mad at us but it’s really our store manager doing that shit.
Yeah man, it got so bad we had to escort the customer to the damn register like we the secret service or something. For some damn shoes!

Nike Outlet employees have been all in my face the last couple of times I've been there as well. Last time the dude literally stood over me while I was trying a couple of pairs on. I was like, "Chill out and gimme some space, bruh".
Nice come up. Recent purchase I made at the outlets were the Wool 3s (paid more than I wanted to tho). The Queens NYC Nike outlet has some real fugazi security guards too. The main guard is like 6 feet and husky and wears shirts that are like two sizes too small. He normally stays at the front of the store but the moment I walk into the outlet and go to my shoe size section, he goes back there within a couple of minutes to keep an eye on me. They have another guard, old White dude who loves to stand right in front of you when you’re looking at shoes. Literally standing in the way.

I got a pair of these in 10.5 at the Nike outlet in Katy TX. They were priced at $230 minus 20% which put them at 230 after taxes. They are my favorite pair so far.

Mike these aren’t B-grades. They are sitting here at the outlets in Toronto too...they told me that all the pairs that The Canadian and American outlets were from footlocker/east bay/footaction/champs because of their price, they didn’t sell at all..I grabbed two pairs because they were $169 plus 30% off plus $50 mvp so they came out to $70 (Canadian) a pair. I doubled up. Same with the premium ginger 4s...by the way when you lose weight, even your feet lose weight and shrink. These also fit a little big.
