It honestly broke my heart because a lot of it was attributed to the voice crack from Jeongin in the end and he was beating himself up so much because of it and I honestly thought the voice crack fit the emotion of the song like when you’re crying and you’re heart is completely shattered keeping a steady vocal is impossible in that state and I felt like the voice crack just really solidified the message and originally thought it was a stylistic choice to really embody the emotion of the song and performance to find out it wasn’t and then he kept beating himself up about it and the fact that they got second to last place partially due to it literally made me so upset because this performance was so fucking good
But everyone was so so good. It’s not like 5th hurt them in the long run, except poor Innie, and he’s coming into his own since. All the groups deserved a crown, but Stays said nope, our kings are the kings.

If you weren't aware this was a cover of one of the other contestants songs. Their mission was to take a song from one of the other groups and basically make it your own. So in typical Skz fashion they completely re-did the whole thing and made it really theirs.
Also at the end while Binnie is rapping and they are doing the high singing in the back at the same time that is Seungmin and Han singing together not just Han. And Binnie is covering 2 different rappers parts in his one part. In the original song that is 2 rappers doing that part. Totally insane!
Yeah, and I read somewhere that the vocals made for Seungmin and Han, in the original song is made by 4 vocals, so is mind blowing how talented they all are

He knew he didn't hit it, it's not like we are saying something he doesn't know. I.N. got way more hell for the note at the end that basically no one even realized wasn't "meant to be" and MNET made him cry on national TV for it. So, I think Lee Know will forgive us for stating a fact on youtube.
Besides, It was an understandable combination of him letting his nerves get the best of him. As well as the dance move he was doing with Han at that moment. If I remember correctly he was focusing on not hurting Han instead of his notes. Which... I mean. 🙄 Yeah. Lol So at the end of the day, it's fine. Whatever, you know.... Speaking of Han though!! This is a vocally heavy song since it’s originally by a group called BTOB who are more into strong vocals than rap however SKZ being SKZ even though they originally have a rap base they pulled this off like it’s nothing.STAN KINGS STAN TALENT.

At that legendary changbin rap part the vocals harmonizing with him from Han and seungmin and notes were so high especially for a man
Changbin's rap somewhat seemed a little overshadowed by how awesome Han and Seungmin duet vocals were... but he rapped damn fast for an arguably long time flawlessly. It's always a good feel when people recognize that. 😌
This performance -for me- is DA BEST thing they have ever done. A big F YOU from the bottom of my heart to the so-called experts who ranked them 5th for this one. I think Changbin's parts are unlike anything he has done. Never in my life did I ever think I would cry along rap. And yes, I illegally downloaded it to my phone because Kingdom songs are nowhere to be found.
Changbin rapping a verse that was originally rapped by 2 ppl, Han aka one of the MAIN RAPPERS hitting high notes with the main vocalist that was originally sang by 4 ppl, WHILST dancing to a tough choreography at the same time. @@aquarmg People say there are multiple factors that could have been reasons why mnet chose to do so according to people:
1. Straykids had 1. Place in the introduction and first round so maybe mnet wanted to make it "interesting" which would be really shitty. Also bonus making our boys suffer and filming IN crying for content
2. Mnet hates BTOB songs so people already predicted that whoever got to cover them, they would get ranked bad immedietely even before the performaces started.
3. The topic was "too dark" for the professionals who otherwise liked bubbly, happy and hype songs, they never liked emotional ones
And all of these reasons are so childish and unprofessional of mnet and people hate them for a reason

nooo my lee know 😭😭 of course he is firstly professional dancer and choreographer but he's amazing and really stable vocalist too. he has wide vocal range and can easily switch up. (maybe you can react to live performance of "scars" on one take?). i understand it can be confusing after seungmin and han but lee know just sang his part in falsetto and NAILED IT.
hope you see this in actual performance and appreciate his vocal skills in the future!

Yeah, he said he was going to react on patreon where it wouldn't get blocked. He's got not context here and doesn't realize that Minho was dancing at the same time he was hitting a falsetto. It's incredible how they dance and sound as stable as they do!

Btw LeeKnow was unstable because he decided to focus more on the choreography to not hurt HAN who was dancing with him. And for the high notes at the end it's HAN and SEUNGMIN while changbin was rapping like crazy! :)

You do know this was a cover of BTOB's song? The original had the rap-over-vocals part, which I love. What I also love is that during Kingdom none of the BTOB singers were willing to sing this song live "It's too hard". Plus Skz basically turned a love song into an anthem for storming Hell to save your loved ones with the ultimate sacrifice. (Not necessarily my choice for a balanced and fulfilled life, but dang it makes a great performance). And who else but Skz would ever think of doing that?
You might want to check out Huta's solo album, that's the solo name for Minhyuk from BTOB, he rapped in the Mayfly performance.
They were missing 2 members and when Han and Seungnim are doing the high note those are actually sang by 4 people so I guess I can understand why BTOB said that xD

Han and Binnie are an incredible duo on this and Seungmin is such an incredible vocalist. This is my favourite Stray Kids live performance alongside their Golden Disk Awards performance of Wolfgang, which was ❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥

Ha ha yes even stray kids makes mistakes. This song is a pretty amazing song sung by btob who’re known for their incredible singing abilities. They also happen to be good friends with stray kids. The members were shocked to hear Han sing & hit high notes live bc he’s known as a rapper. This performance was really deep and special for skz and quite the performance to watch.
Idk if any one already said this but you should check "Red lights" by Bangchan and Hyunjin.

Honestly, I can always just rewatch any of the original music videos, but what I am here for is seeing what you have to say about it while reacting and your facial expressions. Btw, you might really enjoy seeing the original version by BTOB of this song - it has an incredible video and BTOB is known for incredible lyrics. powerful vocalists, and really fast rappers (especially Minhyuk (aka Huta, his rapper name). Huta recently released a solo video for "Boom" that is mostly a rap solo that you might enjoy. There is another Kingdom performance called "Colours" that is a mix of rappers from 3 of the groups (Stray Kids, Ateez, and BTOB) that was pretty amazing as well. Minhyuk is the guy that appears at the end of the performance.

If you want back-and-forth Bin & Han, it's sprinkled throughout the discography in tidbits. But here's a few notable ones:
- CARPE DIEM -- Changbin and Han on a Chan track; SKZ also performed 3rd Eye, Side Effects, and Double Knot here, so I suggest reacting to the full performance with all songs, since this showed not just the legendary Han & Binnie rap but also three other great songs, including the epic 3rd Eye, which almost never gets a live performance but which I suspect you'll enjoy if you haven't already heard it: th-cam.com/video/XrCG3i7hdz8/w-d-xo.html. They've also been performing this at all the concerts, so there are numerous fancams of live Muddy Water stages from the past few weeks.
- BACK DOOR (LOUD VER) -- This isn't SKZ's Back Door. This is a very different, reworked version for a new JYP predebut group, featuring 3RACHA as mentors/celebrity guests for one of the final rounds of the competition. Almost completely different track, all new raps, and Bin & Han not just trading words back and forth, but literally _trading syllables in the same words,_ in perfect timing. Like, that's next-level difficult. Anyway, a huge number of fans don't know this even exists, so I don't know if it's ever been recommended to you, but it's absolutely worth seeing for the 3RACHA moments (the trainees also did great, of course, but that's not what you're looking for): th-cam.com/video/Yhb2g3TqiJ8/w-d-xo.html. If you cover up the onscreen channel logos, I think you'll be safe reacting to this on yt. Yes, this is indeed the audio from the actual episode. It is one of their most powerful songs I think. I am IN LOVE with this song. They all seemed full of emotion in the entire performance.
I loved your reaction when Han started singing. Fun fact: Han had vocal chord nodes before this performance and still hit all the high notes that he was supposed on the performance. Your reaction to Felix's part is also amazing. All of them were singing live, which just blows my mind. And honestly any song you put Changbin and Han alternating is going to be a banger. They have the same thing in Muddy Water.
The really high note at the end, before I.N. starts singing by saying "can't stay without you" is actually Bang Chan, and he said in a Vlive that he was really proud of hitting that.
I believe Changbin rapped for 40 something seconds there, but I will have to check exactly.
There are some things that Stay were conspiring about, considering the Kingdom performances, that I've read/heard about, since I wasn't yet a stay back then. Such as, in the actual performance, you can see a necklace on the statue. They all got rings made before Kingdom, with their names I believe, and the ring on the necklace of the statue is Hyunjin's, since he was on hiatus at this time. The theory is that this performance shows that they will do anything to bring the boy (Hyunjin) back.
Also, in the Kingdom Wolfgang performance, before Han's part (that is Hyunjin's part in the OT8 version), you can sort of hear Changbin say "Hyunjin". It might be reaching a bit, but I like the theory🤷🏻♀️

I also believe that during Wolfgang, when Han was supposed to have done Hyunjin's part, he didn't. He pretended to sing it for the camera, but it was still Hyunjin's voice.
