Honestly, I feel like the difference between BF's voice and the opponent's provides a nice contrast that keeps the song from sounding too repetitive; I often noticed in "X song but only Y character" that some parts are repeated 3 or 4 times in quick succession, which doesn't sound great when it's one character singing it all 4 times.
