I quite like the white bumpers also. Some white porsche decals down the side to set it off. I think it lends itself really well. Amazing work, as usual. I'm sure you'll sort the blemishes.
Some great techniques on the tube on how to eliminate (excessive paint flow areas) sounds better 😅 thats going to come up like glass Andy. Great finish gun fresh.
Looking good. I've been following a long for a while now and it's coming on a treat.👍🏻I thought about one of those spray gun lights, was it any good? And you may have mentioned your spray hood in one of your other vids, I can't recall, does it use a lot of air?
The gun light was excellent! It would have been even better if I could have evacuated the overspray mist faster but can’t do a lot about that unless I was to buy a bigger fan. The hood and gun used nearly all my compressor output which is 36 CFM. It was on almost constantly.
Yes I have the same problem with over spray mist and my eyes are getting older , hence the need for the light 🤣. Also the over spray sticks to the mask I have at the moment making it a double whammy. I think the hood would be too much for my compressor, but thanks for the info. 👍🏻
Looks fantastic 👏. I'm agreeing to the white lower half too . A little run removal tip I learned later on in my painting career is to use a razor blade (single sided so you can hold it) , tiny bit of masking tape at each end of the blade so you're only using 50% of the middle then drag it across the top of the run at roughly 90 degrees back and forth until most of it's gone. This stops the sandpaper rubbing the paint off around the run . Long winded from me but hopefully it'll help . Love the car and constantly searching for a covin body shell like I mentioned previously ,cheers

Old age eyes, I know the feeling!! The hood has removable plastic sheets on the front, I went through 3 doing this job.
