Notice how in Aerith's date, Cloud says something but we cant hear, because his words are "drowned by fireworks" just like the song title...
Aerith's was my favorite because it also builds on the story for the following act. Barret's is nice and Red's is an interesting lore dump.
Vincent, Cid & Cait is the worse, the anti social's gather up lol.

Imagine if they did Cloud and Sephiroth, two men date on Skywheel. A sudden Sephiroth confess his love to Cloud. And Cloud scream on top of his lung in horror.. XD

Yeah... the subtitles in game aren't really translated but instead it's just what the English voices say. You will see the English and Japanese version say different lines all the time.
Wish we could get a translation option.

the subtitle is for the english dub, JP & EN dubs are slightly different in their script, EN does not only direct translate, they rewrote a bit to make it sounds better & smoother in English grammatically~
