one month I needed money for my car license, I prayed, about 2 days later my sister came to visit, when she left she had hidden money under a book on the table, I could not stop thanking God, HE let me know although He helped me He was actually doing it to help my sister, she had been feeling down and depressed, He knew that by her helping me is what she needed to lift her spirits and get her out of a rut. Praise God
I can relate to Oprah's testimony. I surrendered, crying to God the day before my exam results came out. The next day, I received my exam results. I passed my exam. Offering yourself to God means letting him sort it out for you.
At 68 years old, Oprah woke me up from a long sleep. I'm still confused about what I need to do but my spirit was shakened but not clear. I'm excited. It's time to get moving.

I can tell you that at the start of my journey I didn't know where to begin and I listened to your Walk Talks on WW three times. Then I started listening to your podcasts. I bought The Path Made Clear. Your words make so much sense to me, resonate in me. I have started journaling, walking, taking care of myself and most recently started The Best Life Diet. I love hearing this motivational speech from you. Myself I am in the fight of my life for my life. I have been a drug addict for over 25yrs. Currently I have 4 months and 6 days clean. I've been through 50 days of residential rehab and I have been living in a sober living house up until today. I have been treated so unfairly. In spit of this I got a job, I am so grateful for the people God has put in my life who truly want to help me. Operation New Hope, and Gateway. It's a up hill battle. I listen daily to you and Steve Harvey's motivational speeches on TH-cam. I love in Jacksonville FL. The statistics of long term sobriety are stacked against me. Thanks to you and Mr Harvey I'm rising above all of this negativity. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You two have helped me more than you will ever know.

I have actually grown up grown up with a biological mother father who were a narcissist and then the first man who looked at me I chased and was with him for 35 years another narcissist oh my God have I not pay my mother f****** dues I had the only thing I knew was that my only value was to bring home the paycheck my only value was he was a Percocet narcotic Seeker and when I had my gastric bypass when I was $330 lb what do you do to me he looked at me while I laid in bed and pissed and s*** my own bed because he wouldn't help me at 33 and 30 lb he said you won't be needing these and he grabbed my 30 pills of Narcotics wow that was an eye opener he was a Percocet narcotic Seeker he was verbally abusive he would not work to take care of his children and he was verbally abusive and I believed every word he said that's all I knew I came from a verbally abusive father and it took me until I was 61 years old to realize that my father and my ex-husband were were a narcissist and they made me be their codependent and it's like Jesus Christ I'm 61 f****** years old and this is the s*** I'm going through it's been horrific it's been horrific I'm just now learning that I deserve to be loved I just I deserve to be valued I'm texting served everything I didn't realize all this until very very frequently it's very sad
I wish I could hug Oprah Winfrey, and that I could write this directly to her. She spoke to my heart today. She tugs on my heart to hug the child who suffered in her. She brings the giving heart of God to the world. I want to be a better person to live intentionally and the truest expression of myself. I am thankful for her. That the way that I have been treated it has nothing to do with me. But people insecurities let them to mistreat me. I’m who God created me to be with a purpose and plan to fulfill on this earth. So I rejoice today with tears of joy knowing that all these things needed to happened to pushed me to my destiny so for that I say Thank You Lord. And to those who hurt me I say thank you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
you're exactly right Oprah. people can do so much when they look Beyond themselves it's the smallest of things a person. I call it filling in the gaps. and that can be by volunteering, helping someone in need., mowing someone's lawn or cleaning up their yard without asking for cash because they need help, or tipping a drive-thru for saying hi or smiling or just because you got a good report on your dental visit you wanted someone else to smile too just simple things that can make a person's day to fill in the gaps to bring joy we all can do it in so many ways and you just have to take the time, the conversation, and just do it you will feel better for it even when you're going through the hardest of times it will get you through your journey and you always feel better in the end.. thank you Oprah for being such a soul provider to the world in so many ways and that we all can contribute some way everyday to our communities to our neighbors and to our friends and family and to our elders giving back and filling in the gaps are so rewarding.
I learned from my past so many failures in my life taught me how to stand and think in a positive way which I am a kind of love and care others even it was effected to myself living. I am now being a LOVE SPREADER by posting my smiling face every morning to cheer them up as if we are all in a hard situation to live. Thailand has it owns culture for so long that we should not forget who we are and how hard our Kings has dedicated their lives for. I mentioned them as I was designated by the power of the universe for paiting talented which showed me a sign for future. I could not even stop doing my cheering up to people on all platforms that I have just to give them a happiness in every day. Hi Opra Jamie here Newly clean and sober and so grateful for this chance to do it again and turn that scream into a force to be of service. I'm starting a non-profit to raise funds for recovery scholarships for people that can afford treatment. That's all I know. I want to stay in foundation recovery because I understand I have a disease of forgetfulness. While in treatment I was afraid to leave, to go back into the world and feel or fail. There is a story and trauma attached but I want to focuse on the solution. I went to Hazelden Betty Ford treatment center in Rancho Mirage CA because I had insurance. So many people don't have that opportunity and I see how fortunate I am to be given this gift of life. Substance abuse is so far reaching and as I understand it as a symptom of a deeper problem. So for me once the symptom is removed is when things get really interesting. Life begins to change dramatically, new thoughts and ideas take root and you just never know what's about to grow.
It is a true honor and joy for me right now in this moment. You're my sister and inspiration since your very first inspirational talk show. I'm watching your magnificent message because it aligned with me. Thank you always💖💖!!

I call it filling in the gaps. and that can be by volunteering, helping someone in need., mowing someone's lawn or cleaning up their yard without asking for cash because they need help, or tipping a drive-thru for saying hi or smiling or just because you got a good report on your dental visit you wanted someone else to smile too just simple things that can make a person's day to fill in the gaps to bring joy we all can do it in so many ways and you just have to take the time, the conversation, and just do it you will feel better for it even when you're going through the hardest of times it will get you through your journey and you always feel better in the end.. thank you Oprah for being such a soul provider to the world in so many ways and that we all can contribute some way everyday to our communities to our neighbors and to our friends and family and to our elders giving back and filling in the gaps are so rewarding.
I learned from my past so many failures in my life taught me how to stand and think in a positive way which I am a kind of love and care others even it was effected to myself living. I am now being a LOVE SPREADER by posting my smiling face every morning to cheer them up as if we are all in a hard situation to live. Thailand has it owns culture for so long that we should not forget who we are and how hard our Kings has dedicated their lives for. I mentioned them as I was designated by the power of the universe for paiting talented which showed me a sign for future. I could not even stop doing my cheering up to people on all platforms that I have just to give them a happiness in every day. I called this and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE which I am so much happy to find myself being a GIVER to those who needs it. I am so much thankful to your speeches as I somehow do not know whom to share my deepest feeling about being a GIVER with unexpectations in return. THANK YOU.
Oprah, you really encourages me. I too grew up in an environment of abuse. Even as a teenager I was abused by my boyfriend. I could have been like that young woman that you talked about, but God spared my life. My life is a gift to me and I am grateful.

Newly clean and sober and so grateful for this chance to do it again and turn that scream into a force to be of service. I'm starting a non-profit to raise funds for recovery scholarships for people that can afford treatment. That's all I know. I want to stay in foundation recovery because I understand I have a disease of forgetfulness. While in treatment I was afraid to leave, to go back into the world and feel or fail. There is a story and trauma attached but I want to focuse on the solution. I went to Hazelden Betty Ford treatment center in Rancho Mirage CA because I had insurance. So many people don't have that opportunity and I see how fortunate I am to be given this gift of life. Substance abuse is so far reaching and as I understand it as a symptom of a deeper problem. So for me once the symptom is removed is when things get really interesting. Life begins to change dramatically, new thoughts and ideas take root and you just never know what's about to grow.
