Way 1. Check the Lock Switch
The Micro SD card adapter has a lock switch. You should ensure the Lock switch on the left side is slid up. If the lock switch is loose and moves easily, it is likely the switch is sliding to the locked position.
Way 2. Disable Write Protection using GPEdit
The Micro SD card can be write-protected when it’s restricted by Windows local group policy.
1. Type gpedit.msc in the Search Box and press Enter.
2. Go to Computer Configuration - Administrative Template - System - Removable Storage Access.
3. On the right side, double-click the Removable Disks: Deny write access policy.
4. On the top-left, select the Enabled option to activate the policy.
5. Click Apply and Click OK.
6. Close it and restart your computer to complete the task.
Way 3. Modify the Registry
You should be careful to modify the registry. Because if it is mishandled, your operating system will be disrupted.
1. Type regedit, and run as administrator.
2. Navigate to this catalog.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
If it doesn’t have a folder named StorageDevicePolicies, just create it.
3. Right-click on the current catalog Control.
4. In the menu, select New and Key; name it StorageDevicePolicies.
5. Right-click on StorageDevicePolicies and select a new value of the parameter, choose DWORD (32-bit) for a 32-bit OS or QWORD (64-bit) for a 64-bit one.
6. Rename DWORD or QWORD to WriteProtect and double-click the line, changing the value to 0.
7. Remove your SD card and restart your computer.
Way 4. Disable Protection by Formatting
Formatting can remove read-only protection and unlock the memory card. But this will cause data loss if you are sure to do this. You can open the file explore, right click on the SD card and select Format. If you are unable to format it this way you can turn to diskpart. Open the command prompt, press enter after each command.

select disk
attributes disk clear readonly
