Jahlil was just a post up guy, rebounding was ok, fts were bad, ate up space inside, couldn't defend anything moving, wasnt mobile at all, passing was bad . Dre can shoot, a better rebounder, better passer, a true athlete, can post up, solid pick and roll/pop, and has a much higher defensive ceiling. His only issue is his defensive IQ. He has all the tools, and has shown flashes of being able to slide his feet on the perimeter, and block shots. If he is taught well on that end, and he is willing to learn , defense wont be an issue for long.
