Probably not. Strangely enough, the Black Scrawl does exist during the PV segment. And this was supposed to be NieR's original story concept, if I'm not mistaken.
Surprisingly yes. The Drakengard 3 event apparently places the game in the Drakengard (and thus Nier) timeline. We're have to actually play the game to confirm though.
Pretty standard stuff. You pull on weapons, pretty sure there's a guaranteed S Rank (second highest tier). There's a few weapons that unlock character classes, but other than that all the characters are unlocked through story and most characters can use most weapons in some way or another. It's also got the easiest reroll method I've seen before too so if you wanna put the time in you can ensure a good start. Each pull is 3000 Yen (about 27 USD) which is pretty standard, but get plenty of free pulls from just going through the story. Pretty much what you'd find in all the others, no more brutal no less.
As i understand it,, the gacha is only about drawing weapons. The weapons translate into useable skills that you "draw" during combat and all you do is pick weapons/skills that counter the element? It sounds like really awful and simple combat? Am I missing something? Where is the strategy? Also, if you are healing/buffing/debuffing, why would you even care about elemental advantage?
Maybe too late to reply. The strategy is managing how you build your character based on weapon. Are you going on AoE attacker. Physical/magic. Single Target dps. So is with healer etc. Basically support can equip all support weapon+it's skill. So you can do hybrid buff+heal. Hybrid buff+debuff. Pure buffer so can stack 20x stat up faster. Some stage has boss that demands specific strategy to counter it. Like boss with high def requires you to constantly debuff it or you can just cheese it with elemental advantage. There are a lot of options.

You can totally hear parts of Crumbling Lies from Nier Automata in this. And it's totally amazing.

Isn't S the third highest? last i recalled there was a rank L or something like that.
@@badera3083 You should have known by now but L is the tier after you upgrade SS tier weapon/armor. So, the highest tier in gacha is SS.
