Originally I did think the move was a tad dirty, but after seeing Skyzii's POV, he 100000% deserved a penalty. Dude accelerated a mile off the track and absolutely gained an advantage and overtook off track. GGs
@@getrekt7772 He didn't just leave the door open on the final corner, he literally pulled Ben into it, of course he was gonna take the gap that was as wide as the Grand Canyon heading in there. It was a fair move, he was fully up alongside sykizii into the final turn, it was a fair move. Not like he punted him out of the way.

I have to say despite everything with Gillon over the season on everything he did very well today and helped Ben massively without ruining anything and deserves to get recognised for it
He shouldn't have helped anyone. Ben isn't his teammate and even so without 2 lucky safety cars (last one caused by his Ferrari teammate btw) he wouldn't have come anywhere close

Yeah, said it several places already. The fact that Ben slowed down to give the place back and Skyzii opted to stay behind for DRS in sector 1 on the last lap sort of absolves Ben of any penalty there, and also I think since it was a push off from Ben, Skyzii’s penalty for track limits should have been removed. However, the illegal overtake penalty for Skyzii at the final corner is still legit. You can’t just floor it off the track to get that overspeed. Deserved win from Ben. GG

Not gonna lie, I got a bit emotional at the end there - that was incredible! Your move was clean Ben, you're a cleaner driver than anyone gives you credit for, especially Gillon! Ben Daly, you are the F1 23 Creator Series Season 6 WORLD CHAMPION!
This is really giving me Abu Dhabi 2021 vibes, just think about it.... Skyzii is Hamilton and Ben is Verstappen. Let's see, ohh we got: Skyzii pulling away, with Ben not having the pace to catch him, a.k.a. championship basically in the bag. Then someone hits the wall and causes a safety car with under 10 laps to go, letting Ben catch up Safety car ends and (even though he boxed too) Skyzii is on older tyres than Ben. Ben overtakes Skyzii with an insane divebomb thats just barely not over the line, same as Verstappen. And there was even a debate afterwards about if the overtake was legal. That's 5 similarities. Utterly insane ending. The score is now 1-1 between FIA Formula one and Creator series in "Insane championship endings"
Skyzii so naive thinking he can leave that door wide open like that on the final corner with a championship rival on your gearbox. Stupid defending and deserved to get squeezed out. Good move Ben. Clean and clinical. Moved up the inside fairly, nailed the apex ahead and closed the door on exit! Fantastic move!!! Honestly, drivers on this game think they should be entitled to space all the time for hanging a bit of front wing into a gap. The same people saying Skyzii was pushed off track are the same people that say Alonso's defending against Hamilton in Hungary was world class! Can't have it both ways!
Solid finishing race! I was surprised when it was France - also fitting because, well, the track is not returning, so I think this was a nice "goodbye" race for it. About your personal performance this season - I will agree, there were some sketchy and over the line moments, but I think overall you did a fine job with what you had. Got a bit lucky in the end there. :) About last corner - the track limits penalty is fine, he extended and didn't even lift proper, and France is already notorious for quite sketchy track limits. As for 20 seconds - I suppose since this was "end of race" incident, the game automatically gave a 20 seconds penalty? Seems similar to what kept happening in F1 22 I think, where some drivers would receive random penalties at the end of the race for some random stuff... But even then, the penalty seems legit on technicality. GG, nice season overall, though I'm hopeful that it will be a bit less sweaty in the future :)
Finally get to see the ferrari crash, that genuinely looks legit! I dont think there’s any controversy. Big up Gillon though, he was SO crucial in you winning this championship. Your rivalry is big but he did you such a solid this whole race
What i conclude from that last corner was that a F23 shanigan hPoens and both drivers had not the same impression. Like back in the day in Esports when Jarno shoved the other driver into the wall because he was not there on his screen.

Last lap was nearly a 1:1 of Hockenheim 2012. The penalty standing was absolutely the right decision by the stewards
