This needs to be cleared that Mahmud Ghaznawi was from Khurasan. At the time, there was no Afghanistan; in fact, the current geographical area known as Afghanistan was named by Abdul Rahman Khan, in around 1890s. Before 1890s, this area was known as Khurasan. To say that Mahmud Ghaznawi was from Afghanistan, a place which had not existed at the time would not be true. Yes, you could say that he was from Ghazni, today Afghanistan, but not Afghanistan in 1010s. He attached India 17 times, and most of the times he was successful in his raids.

The great warrior Mahmood Ghaznavi was from Afghanistan the country for which Narendra Modi has much affection and love. Narendra Modi invested a lot in Afghanistan rather than rejecting the relations with trade. Can anyone explain why Modi was good relations with Afghanistan? Mahmood Ghaznavi is known as a hero there in Afghanistan i am surprised that india has a good relationship with Afghanistan wherefrom 17 attacks were raided.
