Starting from the number of subjects and institutions related to English medium has been explained. I talked about O levels, A levels, and compared it with Bengali medium.

as an english medium student.. the most hilarious thing is i have seen people believing we do not know bangla, then i have come across the students sain ur life is easy because bcs u dont need to give board exams in 5 and 8, for those people it is a clear misconception, the problem arising is that the english medium students know a lot about the curriculum of the bangla medium but they lack a lot of info about us.
I agree with you !! It is true I have heard a lot of people saying that people who goes to English medium school does not know bangla at all ....which is not true because even though we study in English medium school that does not mean that we don’t know bangla.

For me English midum is better than bangla Medium. Bangla medium students are very bads and waste of time or if u choose English medium then u have chance go to Others country for study u can become everything like scientist, software Engineer etc!

Yes you can do that. It's a bit harder to get in to BUET and Medical for EM students since the exam syllabus is based on Bangla medium syllabus. The other universities, like DU, JU, BUP have different syllabus for EM students.
3 of my close relatives from english medium got chance in public medical colleges. My own brother stood 13 in admission test in DMC, 1st in Armed forces medical college and 5th in DU A unit; subsequently he got 3 honors in DMC and stood 3rd in his final MBBS. My niece stood 1st in Medical admission and also 1st in final MBBS from DMC. My another cousin got chance in Rangpur Medical College.
Note: my brother changed to national curriculum after his o levels and passed HSC from Notredome college. He took lot of pain. All three did.

It's a good time to shift. Just make sure you are hard working and diligent in your studies to catch up. You will have plenty of time. You can go for it.

But bhaiya we have to sit for 3 Subjects at least At A levels to get a proper A level degree so Idk about it being 2 that you were talking about.
For O levels, you gotta take at least 5 subjects based on your interests and qualifications and for A levels, you gotta take at least 3 subjects based on again, your interests, priorities and qualifications
For preparation will we find thiz books on any website.. For class 8!?

Hellow, Im currently in MLIS school grade 8 student under edexel. I wanna leave my school and study for pre O-level basics and then study for IGSCE to give exam . Cause in school we have to wait more 3 years to give the exam(8-10). But I can't register under MLIS school to give the IGSCe exam right? Yes you can .....and you won't have any trouble dealing with the very new syllabus and style ....and you can do it privately and give the exam through a public school like Academia Lalmatia school which I did ....in easy word ...do a Coaching privately and then give exam by Academia School then you will be recognized as a public student ..... If you are an *EDEXCEL* Curriculum science student take these :
*Math B* (mandatory )
*PURE maths* (mandatory)
*English Language B* (mandatory)
*Bangla* (mandatory)
*Chemistry* (mandatory)
*Physics*
*Biology*
*Maths A* (not mandatory but its really easy and you can get easily an A* 🙂 to make your result sheet look good with more A* s lol and it is also now considered as an important subject so why not )
1. And you can eliminate biology if u want to go to *engineering side* and you can eliminate physics if you want to go to *doctorate side* or take both!
2. And you can take a commerce subject with these subjects if you are interested like I took Accounting along with the subjects above👆
Now, if you are an Edexcel commerce student take this subjects:
*Math B* (mandatory)
*Pure Math* (mandatory)
*Bangla* (mandatory)
*English Language B* (mandatory)
*Economics* (not mandatory but u should study it)
*Accounting* (mandatory)
*Business Studies* (mandatory)
*Commerce*
*Maths A* (mentioned above👆)
And same if you are interested in any science subjects you can take it too
*For Edexcel A levels* :
I would suggest to take 3 subjects!
If you are a *science* student take these subjects :
*Math Units : P1 P2 P3 P4 M1 S1*
(Mandatory)
*Physics* (if engineering )
*Chemistry* (consider it mandatory)
*Biology* (if doctorate)
And if you are a *commerce* student take this subjects
*Maths Unit: P1 P2 P3 P4 S1 S2*
(Mandatory)
*Economics* (mandatory)
*Accounting* (mandatory)
*Business Studies* (your wish)
*Law* (very good subject + if you want to study under law / your wish)(can also be taken with science subs)
*SPECIAL NOTE* : The maths units I have mentioned above for A levels is General Maths ...There is also Further Maths which is congruent to Higher Maths in HSC ....Tho its not mandatory to give exam on Further Maths in english medium, but I would still recommend you to study for it... for example just finish the syllabus ...but dont officially register for it because Further pure maths is more often needed after A levels for DU (A unit especially) (B, C doesn't require Further Maths...General Maths is enough) and BUET admission so PLS IF YOU CAN, TRY TO DO IT! Similarly like other subjects, Further Pure Maths also consist of 6 units:
*FP1 FP2 FP3 M2 M3 S2/S3*
I hope you all are full clear and again you can take more subjects in A levels like science subjects + commerce combined and vice versa but Three subjects are enough to get into a public university ....in Bangladesh and in foreign too and three subjects are enough to make you cry ...its veryyyyy tough🙂 but dont worry O level is easy!
**CAMBRIDGE curriculum syllabus is similar to EDEXCEL** but according to my opinion, I find Cambridge A levels easier than Edexcel A levels

Oh yea, and I have a question. If a year 5 student from UK wants to get admitted to grade 6 of English medium schools in Bangladesh, can he do it? It's because in UK, year 6 has SATS exam (which is sort of O level for primary schools or sorts) and I'm just wondering if English medium schools have similar exam like that in grade 6, cos if they have it, then the transfer student might struggle.
There is an exam iplse or something like that in edexcel. But if you want you can skip it.
