Please please keep doing the current events stuff at the beginning. Really helps with the improv and honestly usually is the funniest part (though I love the reddit stuff too obvi)
I'd prefer if they didn't remove the reddit stuff but that's just because I want more content lol cause I think their riffing is great. It was the reason I loved progression playoffs.
Small business crimes go crazy. I used to work for a gas station owned by a dude who definitely wasn't commiting tax fraud, who in the last 2 years of my 3ish year stint there would take out my income tax for me (everything was borderline under the table). Needless to say tax season twice in a row he wired me money to pay the taxes I owed, the second time I had to politely threaten IRS involvement due to how long he was taking. He sent it within 15 minutes of that convo 💀
Not so fun fact I remembered from the "Can weddings beat Madara?" comment, Naruto's author, Masashi Kishimoto got married in 2003 but was so busy with his comic work that he didn't have his proper honeymoon until 2015 So the answer is yes, he can
please keep current events section, i love it) on story 3 - the newlywed is absolutely in the wrong here. it’s entirely hypocritical to use the “you’re being selfish” card when you’re the one actively seeking out the person with the most vacation time - ie, you’re looking to obtain the most time off possible from someone else to use for your honeymoon. that is way more selfish than someone with prior commitments giving up everything to be a selfless martyr. actively taking something away from something else, “justifying” it for a cause that is unrelated to said person, is the most selfish thing you can do!!!!!! main character syndrome!!!!
Man I love the current events banter at the beginning. Not even joking I’ve made a game out of it where whenever I see the latest episode posted I try to guess what event they’re gonna talk about. Today I thought for sure Danny’s intro was gonna be about him on stage with Obama and Eminem but then they did the Russell Brand story that I hadn’t heard about. Always fun to laugh at snake oil salesmen and their idiot consumer base Listening to story 3 I was like “OP needs to tell these obnoxious coworkers that if they’re so concerned about this girl’s honeymoon then THEY can give up their vacation time for her” I was not expecting to hear that they had in the past and are now bitter about it. What a whirlwind of a story
1. Correct 2. Correct 3. Correct Bottle Night mentioned: 9 episodes (two on patreon) KILLS: 7 (two on Patreon - Kill Button merch when?) see ya next time :)
About the whole oblivious parents thing, I think the best approach isn't to be like "YOU SHOULD NEVER LIE TO US CAUSE IT'S EVIL AND DESTROYS RELATIONSHIPS" cause like, who hasn't told a little lie to their parents every once in a while? Just remind the kid that you're always gonna be on their side no matter what, and that you want the best for them when you tell them not to like, smoke weed in the house or play video games for hours and hours
That's the Panopticon, the feeling that Danny's describing in the first part. The uncertainty of being surveilled coupled with the inability to know means you have to behave as if you are being watched at all times. This was a thought experiment idea to reduce staffing costs for prisons! This is incarceration shit!
If the grandad in the first post really is coming from a place of just wanting to enjoy what he can of his family, then there's an easy compromise: home movies. Have the parents record some of the grandkids playing around, or the family doing fun stuff, and send it over to him. put it on a private youtube channel or just send it in an email. He gets to see his family enjoying the house, you get your privacy, and everyone gets a nice keepsake of this time in your lives. Then, if he refuses, you know he's just being a controlling creep and he loses the "but muh family!" excuse.
Also just sending him photos can work, VIDEOCALLING him like every two or three days can work. Like it seems there is an endless amount of alternatives to what's going on right now
About the frequency change in music: Some people think that we should tune the middle A note at 432Hz instead of 440Hz. This would mean all the notes would also be displaced proportionally, because this frequency does not make it dissonant, the dissonance would come when you play two notes at the same time. The truth is it would not matter at all changing it from 440 to 432 because it is just a social convention.
"Youre the kind of person to not switch with a parent on a holiday" Correct. I am my own person with my own plans. Do you think i dont have a family just because im nkt a parent? Even if i dont, you are not entitled to my time- especially if you dont plan ahead. Christmas is at the same time every year. Be better, or bugger off.
I think part of why people fall for stuff like the amulet think is because it almost feels like a real thing. It's barely even pseudoscience but WiFi is a newer invention relatively and we dont know what the long term effects having it everywhere could be, so the idea that it's actually harmful and we just don't know it yet or that corporations know and allow us to slowly suffer for profit doesn't feel too far off. Hell, oil companies knew as early as the 70s that climate change could happen due to burning all this oil (not that this far right amulet buyers believe in that stuff LMAO). But yeah throw a little racism in there and hell yeah, the wrong people are gonna gravitate towards it
I'm honestly surprised it took this long for the pod about three terminally online goofballs (affectionate) roasting Reddit to have a cuckolding-to-divorce episode. Like especially given some of the fetish shit we've already had on this podcast. And somehow it has a weirdly wholesome ending (aside from the ex getting broken from the whole thing).
#1 - The dad admitted to breaking the trust. Outside? Anyone could be recording you at any time. We've come to accept cameras are everywhere. The dad could have kept doing it as long as he kept his mouth shut and had kept the polite fiction that he wasn't watching them like a hawk. Not to say that would have been fine, but at least the OP could have kept the lie going for them. Edit: Something just hit me. OP does not have kids. He goes there with just his wife. The dad should not be watching them like that. I was going to suggest something like face time the guy when the kids are out playing, only to realize that, no, it is the OP's sibling that has the kids.
#2 - Tell him right now! Right now what it sounds like is you cheated on your ex. Get out ahead of it now so the ex can't pollute your new guy's mind with the idea that you're a cheater. Edit: I wouldn't even call this "sexual history". Sure, the actual spicy stuff is, but the fact that your ex brought in a third party to the relationship? That is just relationship stuff.
#3 - She didn't know the days filled up so quickly? Please! If you've worked there for a decent amount of time, you should know that. A lack of planning on your part is not an emergency on my part. Edit: Sounds like a lot of the other workers were angry because they had given up vacation time in the past and felt OP should suffer with them.
I think this is one of the most funniest episodes ever because that threesome story is literally the fakest shit in the entire fucking world. It's literally just the plot of 441036 with some creative writing added on to it. It's so funny because the councel is discussing a hentai plot so seriously. This is the blessed timeline. There's no way this situation will ever happen in real life. The thing where the woman has sex so good that she leaves you is a made up thing by the same people who comment hate on every ntr work you see that has a comment section on it. Women aren't bags of flesh that you can sex up so good you change their entire perspective. Holy shit reddit is so fcking annoying
I worked for a "Small Veterran Owned" computer shop as a break fix technician/ network engineer and have never been treated more shitty. Completely taken advantage of, underpaid and underrepresented. Fuck small businesses.
I actually researched this for political reasons at some point, funny thing is, the obsession with small businesses is kinda a weird right wing thing created by fudging numbers in the late 20th century. It's true small businesses create a large number of new jobs. It just so happens they also destroy about as many because the companies fail easily, so using that to say they're somehow the backbone of the economy is kind of silly.
Camera always makes me uncomfortable, it's like i'm getting deprived of my privacy wich i cannot stand. When it's in something like an airport or building where high security is important i get it... but in a private house ? There's no way i'll live in place where there's a camera. Hell no. Not an asshole, 100%.
Skipping the intro yapping parts? Why would I skip the best part? Heck, I wouldn't mind it if you'd extend these into an own format where you guys talk shit about current events (and maybe other random topics) for hours.
So like the second story saying you left for another man is like objectively worse then he convinced me to have a threesome and then got jealous about the guy he wanted to bring in. Like the specifics makes it so much more rrasonable and sounds less like you cheated on him
Lmao in the description in lists the people talked about in this video. Seth Rogan, Adam Sandler, Alex Jones, Russel Brand like the worst podcast cast.
my guy, everything is political weither you like it or not. Now if you mean political as in talking about politicians and stuff. It's kinda annoying sometimes yea.
Please please keep doing the current events stuff at the beginning. Really helps with the improv and honestly usually is the funniest part (though I love the reddit stuff too obvi)
i straight up would not mind if they removed the reddit part even if it is the main focus ngl
@@DroppedMyMarbles Yeah same! Like even if it's just one reddit story if they start feeling fatigue.
I'd prefer if they didn't remove the reddit stuff but that's just because I want more content lol cause I think their riffing is great. It was the reason I loved progression playoffs.
Nah. I prefer the back and fort from the reddit posts. It seems the longer the initial yapping is the worse the reddit posts are.
i'm hoping one day we get a bonus/special episode that's just current events, like how Well There's Your Problem does it

That life tune max costs almost as half as my monthly salary. I saw their website and fox, wwe and other companies support them. How the fuck

Treating even the fakest stories of all time with abject seriousness is, I think, part of the appeal of the show. It's so fun to play pretend.
Less than 1k views in 2 hours? It's joever
No subtitles. :{.
