this is the most spot on one i’ve found.. i live in ohio and my backyard practically turns into a swamp in the summer!! tons of cicadas, crickets, and frogs! you never appreciate the little things like the crickets until they are gone.. thank you for whoever uploaded this☺️ makes my heart happy❤️

There was a cricket in my house. It sang the song of its people and kept me and my kids awake from 2:30am to 4am. We searched the house and couldn’t find the stinker. Finally I decided to go with the saying " if you can’t beat them, join them” and found this video. MY KIDS AND I THANK YOU!! We were finally able to get some sleep.
Every single time I hear crickets, it takes me back to a memory to when I was 4, the sound of the crickets was INSANE I couldn’t sleep because of it. Therefore I went downstairs and told my dad I could not sleep. (He was watching some car show; it wasn’t that late at night, maybe 9:30PM or so) He said to just close my windows, so I did and it very faintly muffled the noise. I then went back to my dad to tell him and he said to just lie down, close my eyes, and I will fall asleep; it did not work. My dad was still downstairs watching his car show and I complained that I couldn’t sleep once again. The next thing he said will stick with me for the rest of my life; when I told him that the crickets were so annoying and loud, he said “Well what do you want me to do, go outside and hunt down all the crickets!?” And my stupid 4-year old mind said yes; my dad just straight up walked away.
After my kids left home I let the above ground pool water go untreated. Couple years later I had hundreds of frogs hatching. Their singing in the evening was great and no mosquitoes till my neighbor complained that pool was causing mosquitoes. Boy he found out he was wrong. Love this sound track and thank you!

Tolded him same thing, we had no mosquitoes here and that his yard was harboring them in all his bushes around his house and those 5 huge oak trees. I mean huge with limbs 2 to 3 feet in diameter running out horizontally! Two years later he spent 15,000 dollars to cut 4 of them down using a crane. BOY WE SURE MISS OUR POOL OF FROGS AT NIGHT WITH NO MOSQUITOES AROUND. SOMETIMES PEOPLE DON'T LISTEN.

Thank you so much whoever put this up. The sound goes up and down with the different calls and chirps, is not like a mechanical white noise machine. I put the phone in another room and play this sometimes. Can hear it from the bedroom. Absolutely perfect.

My favorite crickets track. But, although it says "Black Screen" it's still not completely black like a lot of other ones. There's nothing on the screen, sure, but the screen is still lit while playing on a TV. Can you look into making it completely black? Thanks for a great sound though...

tvs have a backlight that illuminates the screen. thats the light that youre seeing. some newer TVs have more advanced screens that have better contrast
