I have wanted a hook knife for some time, but was concerned that I would not be able to sharpen it. Your videos, on the subject, have put that to rest. Thanks mate.
Very good video! Thank you for sharing! So far I only carved spoons for a quick use with a regular knife, but now that I have one... Very beautiful presentation...
General question : You work mainly with green or dry wood? Or you take the most of the wood while green, then you wait, and complete when dry (to make a superb finish) ? cheers!
Well done. I just purchased my first hook knife and your video filled me in on everything I need to know. Thanks!

I recently got a 164 myself and this video was amazing. Do you reccomend to get a wider hook knife as well, or will the 164 suffice?
