I always hate how everyone says Kabal was just a criminal when he helped the earth realm heroes, and died due to Sindel. He didn’t choose to die again and genuinely seemed to change.
This Kabal was the past version of himself that is still a member of the Black Dragon. Meanwhile the future Kabal who died by Sindel and now revenant left the black dragon and joined the army. He gain redemption by siding with the good people. Unfortunately he was killed by Sindel.

For me Kabal is one of the characters that actually doesn’t really fear anyone and can actually punish everyone if they try to mess with him. Kano’s lackey, both can turn against each other anytime instantly and unexpectedly, if they fought, they’ll probably fight valiantly to the last breath and I think it would be a draw because Kano and Kabal for me are the same level, no matter if Kano is Kabal’s boss.
