Hi HDFC Team, what is that ABA number that I have to provide , Can you provide an example dummy ABA Number for adding a beneficiary to Canada (CAD) . I see it is 9 Characters, but the Institution Code Number + Transit Code Number with me are 8 digits (which you say form the ABA for Canada are 9 characters together). Add 0 at the front . So, the code is 0XXXYYYYY, XXX is institute code and YYYYY is transit code, I've sent money, It works.
Institution code comes generally with 2 digits ! Prefix 0 to make it 3 otherwise Ins.code +trans code combination will not become 9 digits !
