Hey guys - hope this video helps you! I really didn't want to just provide some basic info, I believe most of you are adequate enough to understand core game mechanics and stuff, so here are some tips that are either less known or aren't disclosed clearly by the game.

I wanna ask a question, if I actually got 2 five star character that are hunt type what should I do? because giving up one of the character some how its a waste for me
@@MW.0523 If you're interested in doing Forgotten Hall game mode, you will need to build 2 teams, so you will be able to use both Hunt characters.
But since I assume you're just starting out, level up one of them for now, you will get much more resources as you progress later on.
Another tip for Simulated universe is that the game mode doesn't have a turn limit, so there's really no need for fast clearing, as long as you survive till the last boss youre safe. Use a defensive team and build when the enemies are too hard, you may not clear fast but hey you survived till the end.
Thats how i play and its very cool :). But there is this gamemode where you need to clear the enemys fast or you cant reach the maximum of rewards.
Defensive team that is safe on autobattle might be faster than offensive team that requires supervision.
Defensive teams die to counter bosses tho
They actually do stupid amounts of dmg

simulated universe 4 can improve 15%attack every two turns, so if you fight for too long you would be probably defeated in one turn

Better artifact system, audio sync with character mouth, bigger max resin, Killing mobs actually give you something useful (even just a little) and many more.
How are the artifact system better? I don't play genshin so idk

@@pumpkinut5314 in hsr crafting system you can choose which piece you want. In genshin it's random and 99% you will get the piece you already have because the game system can smell your anxiety.
If only they fixed these things in genshin instead of trying to get me invested in yet another gatcha...
I love they have unique Achievement for specific character, like achievement for using Himeko's Ult 3 times in one match, Or "Foolish little brother.." for using Serval to deal last damage against Boss Gepard
Speaking of Gepard, if his shield doesn't get any damage through a whole phase, you also get an achievement~
i didn't use serval last dmg for gepard boss however i did it when it's cocolia boss...
and found out they were bench mate/class mate???? now im curious how old is serval and cocolia again 😭😭

Huge tip for everyone, March is secretly like a top 3 4* unit (right behind the one fox girl and battling Natasha for 2 and 3) so build her she’s a great f2p investment.
- My current team is Seele, Fox girl, March, and Bailu. My team is centered around spamming turns with Seele and being unkillable with shields and amazing heals.
Qn, who's a better shielder/tank, fire Trailblazer or March? Just trying to figure out who I should invest in first early in the game. Assume that I will also build Natasha. Thanks in advance!

@@Infernaladmiral no, Gepard is better since he is 5* and also because Gepard takes the aggro while March gives the aggro to whoever she gives her shield to.
@@Infernaladmiral I’d say Gepard is better overall, he can preshield Allies with his technique and his shield is AOE on his Ultimate. March is a budget/freeze focused version of Gepard.
Ngl as someone who has not played any other honkai related games, it is soo hard for me to understand what everything means and there is so much you have to read.

This was how i felt when i played honkai impact 😂 i got overwhelmed then eventually didnt play it cuz it was too much for my puny brain, but this is actually tolerable compared to honkai impact but yes you’ll get used to it :D

But most turn-based strategy games will require a fair amount of reading if you wanna utilize the mechanics to your advantage.
Isn't exactly a game genre where you just brute force everything.
Although, just like in quite a few games, you probably can brute force it if you put a lot of money into it.
Gacha games in general are pretty confusing😂😂
You can keep replaying the simulated universe for some mob drops too. Remember that you dont need to use trailblaze power to do so

Coming from Trails series, there's a neat trick to make sure your ultimate always comes before enemy action. It's by immediately pressing the ult key right after character action.
Also, your Ult won't cast if all the enemies are dead. If you aren't sure a move will kill the last enemy, click the ult after selecting the move.
If all the enemies are dead, your ult is still at full power. If they aren't, the ult is usually enough to kill them.
I have played Trails in the Sky and Crossbell..

Dan Heng is such an amazing wind DPS character like i love him sm he easily beats so many of the enemies cuz most of the enemies have wind/physical as their weakness. Also i put Herta and borrowed Himeko from my friend and OMG i didnt have to press a single button, use ultimate or even press autoplay during a calyx material farming run. Both Herta and Himeko just kept going with their follow up attacks tht i just have to sit back and watch them shred through 6 waves of enemies 🤣🤣 I was so confused when this happened the first time and thought if i accidentally pressed autoplay or something lol
So that's why I'm getting so many random friend requests and I was thinking I was just suddenly one of life's cool people way to shatter an ego bud 😀 (awesome video btw)

played star rail for a bit and the turn based system they went with is pretty fun.
mix of trails series and (not sure but I've only seen those in this one) octopath traveller break system.
fast forward options in a turn based battle system is always good too.

I think it’s a better choice to leave your artifacts completely unleveled, we’re going to ditch them like in Genshin when we get a source of 5 star relics
And March 7th is usually enough for survivability (unless that enemy is spamming AoE and DoT, Natasha deals with that), and she’ll give you freeze and ice coverage as well as follow-up attacks, you wouldn’t believe they actually gave you a good starter character..
though the game isn’t that hard so you should play who you like, but March 7th is just really good

happy to say i joined on release day and i seriously enjoy it!! i can see how its similar to genshin but theirs so many things i enjoy here more that have improved my experience

Best thing in it the system they took from legend of heroes trailes of cold steel which is the inreption of ultimate attack , the game just began and I believe it will smash genshin impact itself❤❤❤

There is a limit on simulated rewards. I was speed farming World 1 to upgrade my ability tree and I stopped getting rewards from elites.
I just found out today
apparently chests can respawn
i was able to re-farm the space station all over again today
probably a bug since some items such as keycards and stuff that you use to unlock doors also respawned

I'd say, you can superimpose 3* just fine, but don't level them up. As for which is worth using, it all depends on the character and the role you want them to take. For example, if you want March to have more beefy shield, use a lightcone that enhances her DEF. If you want other effects that do other than that, use appropriate lightcone. It really depends on what you want to improve/highlight in the unit/team.
I can put an ATK buffing lightcone for Asta, but I wanted to use her in speed comps so I put a lightcone on her that increases the whole team's speed upon battle entry.
FTP Player here. Second day and got 50 wishes and a 5 star character. In Genshin I didn’t get my first one (Not traveller) until AR 39!
In genshin i didnt get a 5* character till AR49 or smth and in honkai star rail got two 5* on the first day lol
I rememeber people account rolling in genshin at launch but I got Venti on roll 26 so I didn't feel the need to
5 STAR char is overrated man. Especially later on when you get copies of your 4 stars. Multiple copies of 4 star is better than 5 star char with no copy.

I was honestly very disappointed when I got her. But when I realized she was A DPS tank That uses The cool looking robot and she does a lot of damage and counter damage. I was sold.

Yeah I've pulled 3 DPS 5 stars so far, a little bummed that all my 5 stars are gonna ve irrelevant in a year
but I like the designs of all of them so I'm still happy with them
Had to give up HI3 just for HSR lol… i don't have the energy to go through elysian realm AND simulated universe AND honkai abyss in a week, I'm tired af but HSR is quite fun and of course more rewards compared to genshin, but progressing in the game is slow and painful

i think it requires 3 authorization steps.
tier one ask you to find the alfro wearing researcher at the main control (near asta/herta shop).
the 2nd are dropped at the elevator area (near at the end of the place where you have to switch red/blue and activate white platforms).
the third you have to kill a boss monster in supply zone (i cant remember correctly cuz i accidentally killed it before checking the control panel)
My only solace isthat skme features are kinda similar to Genshin so I don't get too lost but it's still too much info to take. Is this what info dump feels like?
The beauty of Genshin is it's menu is so simple and not cluttered unlike HSR. Oh well

TIP 8: Put the tanks or character that is most likely having highest threat on the edges of the team set up!
An AOE attack that would otherwise do CLEAVE dmg on either sides of the main target, will no only hit 2 targets instead of 3.
Example: Fire MC, Natasha, Bronya, Seele. Here only MC and Nat will get dmged.
Any tips on using Natasha?
