Get yourself a girl who can do both elegant classic lolita and punk Twilight lolita! Thank you for appreciating my Twilight shirt :D I love experimental coords and I'm pretty sure that is the future of lolita, I see more and more people experimenting with interesting colours and contrasting themes and I am HERE FOR IT
The weird thing about con crit/gatekeeping/"preserving the fashion"/etc is that there is no Lolita Council writing Lolita Rules and giving out Lolita Permits. Every single fashion choice isn't going to be Proper Lolita to someone out there. If we can all just accept that the barriers of an alternative fashion are very blurred and just appreciate what we like, give con crit when asked, and otherwise just let our negativity go, the online community would be amazing.
the HEART ATTACK i gave myself from listening to this video and then suddenly hearing my own insta caption 😂 thank you so much for hyping me and my coord up! i have chronic pain but still like to wear lolita as much as i can, so i do my best to work with simpler pieces, and aim for custom sizing when i can so i can be maximum comfy.
@@kagitsune it is worth it to do it! even if it means breaking a few rules like skipping the petticoat on certain days, or going for unconventional not-lolita shoes, its worth it to be cute
I bought my first Lolita dress the other day and trying it on made me feel so happy! Thanks to your videos I’ve managed to actually get out there and buy/make more Lolita clothes that I now wear quite regularly. So thank you lor for helping me gain the confidence I needed to start dressing how I wanted!
I am in full support of this message! I don’t think this is even just the Lolita fashion community online recently, it feels like the internet has pushed a lot of negative stuff lately. I’d love to bring more positivity and fun to the net!
Omg 😭 I was so proud of the coord you picked, thank you for the kind words Fun fact: that jsk is the real And Romeo dress that gets so often replicated and is so lovely irl
oh my gosh I can´t believe I am in your video *-* I am so happy thank you for your compliments and my marie antoinette or cake hair was super easy to wear since it is all my natural hair so it was really fine
Thank you for this video, I do find the lolita fashion community so toxic. Especially in London, I've decided after leaving one discord server, I don't need a large meetup for approval or photoops,, I just want to enjoy my own style and meet 2-6 lolitas maximum per hang out. No one deserves to feel bad about themselves cos of jealous comments by bitter people. just enjoy yourself and be proud to be different and stylish :3
Thank you so much for making a positive lolita video. It feels like there's been a lot of negativity and drama recently (I see it the most on Tiktok though. Idk why). Its so sweet to see how happy you look/sound while complimenting these people's coords.
THANK YOU! It's so true that most time people ever only bother with complaints, but not enough good things. I think there are people who by default if something is good, they don't need to make a comment since 'god things' should be the standard. Thank you so much for the positive boosts! I've been really thankful for independent shops/sellers because it's a great way to stay connected to the community and helping independent artists! ALSO CCF newest Magical Lovely Rainbow line reminded me of you and the wig you're wearing in this video
Wooow I’m so happy you liked my satirical Ita coord that much!! 😝❤️ Thanks for all the positivity- you inspire me to experiment and have fun with lolita fashion. 🥰 Love your channel and all the work you to do encourage and uplift the community. 🙏🏼🎀✨
I love Puvithel! I own mostly the jewelry but alway buy from them if it's at my con! Also I agree so much about building people up! I've stay in the lolita community for a decade because of this and I love to see the positive in something rather the negative! Ima use your hashtag on future coords!
I just ordered all the stuff for my first coordinate and I do have a lowkey fear of the community ngl- but I’m rlly excited, never have been more excited to wear smth 😭
Thanks for this, it's really nice to hear. Lately in the online spaces I've been using to talk to the community there's been a lot of hate for what's called "covidlitas". I think it's a fear of people thinking a bunch of new people are gonna come represent the fashion wrong, or they "don't really care" or that they're "tainting the community" but the forget there have been good and "bad" members of the community for a long time. It's majorly off-putting honestly. I chose this time to get into lolita because a friend who's modeled for AP and who I look up to a lot inspired me to get into the fashion, and I feel like I'm being thrown under some kind of bus for my timing. I hope people realize this fashion is about building people up and taking things on a case by case basis.
My gosh, why must I be poor and impatient? Honestly, I just wanna make decora sailor lolita/ouji happen for me. I want to look like a poofy rainbow that roams the open seas.
i think the purist lolitas need 2 go back and see how experimental & unique old school coords were. lolita is about self expression and having fun, and tbh i prefer out of the box coords theyre so cool
I've been watching you for over a year now and I just wanted to thank you for being my first real introduction to lolita fashion and being and continuing to be such a wonderful person!!
I love the way you hype everyone up, no matter what subculture THIS SHOULD BE NORMALIZED! I am probably an ita, because while I envy and get inspiration from the style, I don't have COORDs and I don't have a JSK but its such a beautiful style. I am just rainbow goth Disney punk thrifted mismatched with rainbow hair. I also LOVE how you ended this video. 😭😂💓
The dreamy pastel princess coord is so cute! But it really doesn’t reflect oldschool lolita at all! It’s styled with all modern pieces in a very typical modern way so I really wouldn’t misrepresent it as oldschool. Either way it’s a super cute and awesome coord
Love you nurse Lor! Thank you so much for just being so positive because I was really feeling down about wearing lolita after being in a lounge wear slump.
I love your videos so so so much! They are always very positive and informative, and though I'm not part of the lolita community, your encouragement makes me wanna try lolita fashion ♡
I love this wig it is so cute and the iridescent color sparkles in it make me smile. Thank you for continuing to make excellent, fun, and exceptional content that always helps make a difference in my day.
Maybe I'm just lucky but i found an awesome online community where we always hype each other by sharing each other's coords and expressing our love for indie brands in IG stories 💕💕

@@eviegraham564 Well if you only want to buy from people in the UK try looking at Lacemarket and filtering only Europe (you will usually recognize people in the UK due to their currency). Also, R.R.Memorandum sells accessories for Lolita and is based in the UK. I can't think of other shops right now, but I'm sure there are other one too! :)
I'll probably get some rough stuff but this is so positive to me I got a replica of misty sky called misty pegasus and it's literally the most beautiful dress I've ever laid my hands on!!! I hope everyone else has found their dream dresses and remember to support small local brands- a quality replica with a twist is always fun to find!!!

Anyone know where to find local lolita groups?
