Just a tip, I ALWAYS spread my roots as I fill with leca. The more the roots are spread out, the less chance of root rot, and the better aeration they get.
I love having plants indoors, but avoid it because neither of my thumbs are green. Watching your videos is revealing many of the things I did wrong in the past. You are inspiring me to try again. And your little girl is adorable.
Some plants are harder than others to plant in just LECA. My crotons I planted in terraponics which is putting LECA in the bottom of the planter, the plant without disturbing the roots goes in the middle and you put LECA all around it and on top. Crotons are fussy and their leaves will drop when disturbing the roots. No rotting whatsoever.🪴🌱

I really like the part about containers are not an issue with Leca, I have tendency to use containers without drainage holes.
