Today it is the site of a Russian weather station and a base of Russian Border Guard troops. It doesn’t sound like the Little Diometians have any reason to go the big island. You think if Muslim countries allowed women to get indoctrinated, er, I mean, educated in colleges, they would leave us alone?
They won't stop sanctioning, pressuring, bombing until your daughters are having sex with 10 men on onlyfans. Yes. Anything less than that is not acceptable! Anything less than that is a violation of women's rights!
Look at Pakistan. The US government is about to approve $200 million for gender programs in Pakistan. That's $200 million for the sole purpose of getting young Pakistani women on onlyfans. I'm not even exaggerating. That's literally the goal they are working towards.
Wake up! Be a real Muslim man and just say no!
One of the coolest geography videos I've ever watched
Great way to extend your vacation
“Wallllkkk to Asssiiiaaaa”
- Chris Farley, Almost Heroes
My home region! My moms side of the family is from Little Diomede. I grew up going to Little Diomede by skin boat with my grandfather and/or uncle. The body of water is actually the Bering Strait. Most of the time you have to go further north to walk across because the currents in the Strait are so strong the ice doesn't always freeze up. Now a days it's really thin because of global warming.
All I can imagine from you saying “skin boat” is you surfing on top of your grandfather with your uncle
@archangel 666 - it’s when you use animal skins to make your boat. At least that’s what it is where I grew up. It’s the traditional way we make kayaks.
It's a boat made if walrus skin split and stretched then sewn and lashed onto a wooden frame.
@@kingiginrosie8992 Oh wow you use walrus? Up in the Slope we use sealskin. I wonder if there are differences. I would love to visit the Diamedes one day!
So did some guy walk from Russia to the US to talk to your mom?
So if you move from Big Diomede to Little Diomede you're basically traveling back in time to yesterday.
It's a whole day ahead.
Me: I'm about to go there and get tomorrow's lottery numbers! Be right back!
That’s so messed up
It is GENIUS!
😆🤣 Brilliant!!
I don’t think Russia participates in the US Powerball
@@thaintriguing1 They got internet. I just need to Google the numbers.
how would you when they're a day behind
If I had learned this in school, it would have been the most interesting thing I learned in school.
Thanks for that interesting geography lesson ❤️
I watched a TV show about a man who tried this. He didn't make it across.
As for walking between the 2 little islands, there are two régimes I could imagine shooting people on grounds of border security for going to the wrong Diomede & they are America and Russia. Every other country would either be too poor to post soldiers out to the middle of nowhere or too laissez-faire to care.
My first thought: "I could use this to escape my daily responsibilities."
.... that's honestly a cool way to get preorders a day early
If that were possible. But also nice to know there's two little islands that are just a bit of a ways apart
the place where carpenters wrote "yesterday once more"

Imagine if Russia and the USA had great relations, they could build a bridge.
US doesn't like good relationships
They tried before but it’s so expensive that is not worth it
Jimmy, I need that report on my desk like yesterday! *Walks through time*
Yeah, the date line. One of the guys in my clan in Freelancer is from Australia. I told him that since it's tomorrow there, all he had to do was give me the lotto numbers and I'd buy the ticket and we'd split it. He starts going on about how "blah blah that's not how that works blah blah bullshit bullshit blah blah"
Lol, dang I miss freelancer. Still waiting for a game that scratches that itch
@@steagle33 i was an early backer for star citizen, but im at the "eh, if it ever reallly comes out I play it. But I'm not going to hold my breath" stage lol

Ok, now I know what Sarah palin meant when she said she can see Russia from Alaska
Sarah Palin never said that

I know this a lot of years, but don’t understand Americans don’t know this fact, living in USA, Canada
“I can see Russia from my house”
- Sarah Palin
Tina Fey said that , not Palin.
Don’t get too excited, people, Big Diomede Island has no permanent native population after the military base was established there in 1948, the Soviet government relocated the indigenous population of the island to mainland Russia. Today it is the site of a Russian weather station and a base of Russian Border Guard troops.
It doesn’t sound like the Little Diometians have any reason to go the big island. It’s not like they have stores or provisions for them. Also, the people who live on the little island are most likely self sufficient Eskimos who don’t really need much.
"Yeah and you can actually see Russia from Alaska."
-Sarah Palin
Exactly!
And anyone who thinks what Tina Fey said as being factual is a moron.
Only the idiots thought that her statement was nuts. They were just showing how ignorant the followers of those Democrat leaders were.
@@makayahmilani2232 🤮
I remember how they made fun of her for saying that, little did they actually know.
