Just some food for thought. Hope didn't have to kill Landon. She just had to feed him a bit of her blood and his Malivore side would've died. Landon would still be alive if the writers wanted him to be.
They could have figured something out as well for Rafael but they didn’t. But we’ll see how it’s going though, we’re seeing him a little. I know that a lot of people love him because he’s with Hope etc etc etc but I’d love to see him evolve without her.
Hope could have put him to sleep and bound him long enough to take him to New Orleans. Her Aunt Freya and Aunt Divina could have helped Hope to separate Landon and Malivore. She could have had a future with Landon if the writers were allowed to bring in the Originals characters. As for Rafael, Hope could have saved Rafael by biting him and turning him into a Hybrid. She is the only one left to be able to turn Wolves and/or Vampires into Hybrids.
