Bro sneaks out the debate that EPL is more competitive than la liga, here's the thing mate, EPL Clubs are richer than La liga clubs, so they can buy quality players from other clubs. Man city, Liverpool, Arsenal, Totteham, Man United, Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle can spend 50-60m for just one player. In laliga only Madrid, Barca and Atletico can spend like that, and the other clubs get their quality players from their B team or Academy. Still the likes of Sevilla, Villareal, Sociedad and Bilbao would beat your Big 6 teams, even the team value of these la liga clubs are lower compare to EPL clubs

Heck, Man U are 14th and smoked Sociedad. The style of play in the leagues are different, with the premier league being more physically demanding in the sense of pace, power, and strength. La liga as a whole requires more football iq, technical ability and quality on the ball because of the way teams want to build out and possess the ball. Zlatan did a hot ones interview and shared the differences between the nature of La liga/prem/serie a (check it out if you haven’t). All in all, i think premier league is more competitive from top to bottom because of the style of play and wealth (more quality and more physical) but i think La liga is the hardest league because of the leagues style of play.

The style of play in the leagues are different, with the premier league being more physically demanding in the sense of pace, power, and strength. La liga as a whole requires more football iq, technical ability and quality on the ball because of the way teams want to build out and possess the ball.
Zlatan did a hot ones interview and shared the differences between the nature of La liga/prem/serie a (check it out if you haven’t).
All in all, i think premier league is more competitive from top to bottom because of the style of play and wealth (more quality and more physical) but i think La liga is the hardest league because of the leagues style of play.

I don't know why people keep talking about Iniesta as if he were an offensive midfielder or #10. He was just as much of a CM, #8 as Xavi. If anything, Xavi was better at making runs into space.

Anyhow, Iniesta and Zidane aren't the top 2 midfielders of all time. Xavi was more complete and productive than Iniesta, just lacked the same dribbling skills. Zidane was massively inconsistent, if a big moments player. He's getting hugely overrated retrospectively, out of nostalgia and highlights.
Vicente Del Bosque (who coached Zidane, among many others) called Busquets the best midfielder he'd ever seen. And he specified, not just defensive, but midfielder in general.
