Also, add another 10 T4 drills around. Pressure is a bit lower than you should be. Plus add some more gas extractors to help your farming out.
The reason the recycler gives you all the items from the cosmic quartz is that it gives you everything 1 item is made of and nitrogen, zeolite, obsidian, osmium, 2 magnetic quartz, solar quartz, pulsar quartz, blazer quartz, quasar quartz are all in a cosmic quartz.
For mutagen and fertilizer, the smart way to do it is go to the beach! collect butterfly larva and send them through the recycler. I think normal rare larva also grind into t3 mutagen.
You can buy fish eggs so you can already start with Animals before you set up everything. After you will set up your fish production, you can sell those fish eggs back ;)

Yes, but you can empty them, destroy them, and then recreate ones that do connect to the logistics system. Just like Z1 was doing with the solar panels.

Not a fan of Humbles ore processing. This adds so much extra junk that needs to be filtered by bots. Overall Humble is just an ok DLC. Worth the money for one playthrough, but not sure I will ever replay it.

The higher tier butterfly larva, and Humble is quite generous with them, are a great source for fertilizer in a pinch via the recycler.
May not be your thing but there is a mod that lets you craft from anywhere within a range of your storage. You can set the distance also.
