A big problem with a lot of Duley items is that they are a made with the intention of using your Core. As soon as Core is off the board you no longer have any strong build direction.
To clarify, I don’t mean this as a criticism of Duley and I really like the Cores. I just wanted to identify why any build not using a Core has to be really good to not get screwed. The Cores are all really good items and should be used in most scenarios.
So one of the main things about the core, all cores, even if you don't feel like you need the actual effect, is that it triggers a lot on a full board with things to the left of it. So in the build you ended up with having it on the right side with duct tape to the left and then armadillo to the left of that would have likely been faster triggers since the armadillo trigger triggers the core faster triggers the shield faster, etc. And just a small tip for the final list of items. If you make sure your cursor is off to the side while the items line up then it won''t jumble up the items. It's having an item want to zoom that makes them all get jumbled up as they're lining up.
I don't know where you and Retro are in your respective backlogs, but do you two ever compare Bazaar notes? I enjoyed the old co-op Slay the Spire videos you did with Teak, where you two got deep into the theory crafting, and it would be fun to see you do a similar Bazaar stream with Retro.
I often hear that Dooley's items are weak or that it is tough to find a direction without your core or having preferred core from the start (see your other comments actually), but that is because the character just isn't as straight forward as the other two. Dooley really relies heavily on finding that key items to stich everything together, making him the least flexible character IMO. That also means that Dooley players need to be familiar with all the other Dooley items to figure out how everything fits together, at least more so than any other character so far. Motherboard is OP broken with a specific skill, LEDs is critical for slo..for nearly every build, the core almost always is best on the far right oddly, weapons only work with certain items to scale them, almost every Dooley board relies heavy on interference like freeze or corrosive toxins to go from not having a prayer to dominating the other player, etc. Dooley is my least favorite character because of how stale and rigid it all feels to me. Very blue mana if you get that Magic reference.
Hmm I think you might have been able to build something close to an infinite with knife set, Tesla coil, and the core. At the very least knife set and coil charging each other sounds interesting and both charging the core as well could be the start of something, if you add a GPU to haste the core they should all be going off quite often. Whenever I see anything that "charges" I'm on the lookout for an infinite or some other degeneracy.
Dooley can be hard to work around! I had a rough time learning how to play it. I still have a hard time deciding what to put on the left side and what to put on the right side of the core. Tbh most of the time the scaling doesn't seem worth forgoing the core charge.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
For what it's worth, and probably shouldn't play around this, but Motherboard currently triggers of hasting anything you have. Making it really crazy powerful.
Yeah, you messed up on Day.. 4? By not getting the first Alpha Ray and keeping your 3DJ friends on the board. Should have pivoted to pure damage with the core.
Watching the video knowing the title is a rollercoaster of emotions since you see Harmadillo twice before grabbing it.

@@crutoniggy234 A Rhapsody + Reto combo stream would be a dream come true

Is Angry Balloon Bot just a way of taking enemy damage and hitting them back with it? (Assuming you've also built big shield)
when identity crisis hits

i wish dooley's level up rewards would specify what tier of loot items they're giving you
Harmadillo: Fully Loaded.
Starring (pre-drugs) Lindsay Lohan.

Please stop putting all the items on the right side of the core, for gods sake! There is nothing charging the core!
