I love this idea! I am not too crazy about banks in general, but at the same time, you never want someone to come in and discover a cash horde you've worked hard for. I've been there and done that, it wasn't much but the fact that it was anything and during a time where I truly couldn't afford to lose, it was really painful. I recently opened a high-yield to try the CD ladder, but will add some buckets in for the big stuff. #donna #bucket

I have also created sinking funds and savings trackers to get more organized. I am trying to get to the place where I am comfortable having more money in the bank then home. I do believe that is a very smart idea to put your $ into a HYSA for your sinking funds and it gets you interest also. I would not be able to have that much $ in my house where I live. Too many ppl around that you just can't trust.
