Just heard December for the the first time today. From the city I was born. It’s good to hear that someone can do a version of a well liked song with their own take and still make it work. Shame the radio doesn’t cater for anyone except the repetitive elite fold these days. I enjoyed the refugee as well. Now I’ll be searching for everything by December. A band from back home.

Oh, so did I! I got it when it came out, and I liked the version of "Bad" ten times more than the album version! You guys could really pull off "All I Want is You", you know that?
...that was fuckin’ special. There’s no other way to say it... it’s a powerful lyric, and gets handed to you in your face... exactly the way it should. ☮️ ...loved the tempo, guitar playing was fabulous... I could possibly love this version better than the original.

it's quite good, to be honest. but the magic atmosphere u2 deliver with their sound is almost impossible to imitate or recreate elsewhere. acoustic versions are just a workaround.
