That video was great lots of fun, usually a POV is in the front row, but seeing the people in front of you flying out of their seats and even her hair you really got the feeling you were flying out of your seat, and that's what makes roller coasters roller coasters that's why we love them, thanks man that was fun
If your gonna ride it remember this comment it’s a perfectly safe smooth ride just the lap bar gives you so much airtime room it gives about 6 feet of a gap between you and a lap bar at 1:32 look at the lady in front she gets a lot of airtime so if your nervous about flying off a coaster then you should skip the ride now I love airtime but sometimes you get to much airtime.
The design is about as classic as you can get for a wooden coaster. Small footprint with a lot of camelpower. From an amateur designers perspective, even if I can't ride them myself, it's always nice to see the real things in action. Gravity induced screams are the most joyous.

You listed many reasons why it's been voted best wooden coaster I'll just have to add that the park it sits in, and it is one of the least problematic coasters out there. Never closed during my 37 years of annual visits. We hope your reactions of Phoenix in this video were the same on all the other unique, classic, best in the country and must do rides they have there.
that looks very fun but it looks like I might loose my stomache a lot lol because I'm gonna be going there in about 10 hours or 9 (It's 12:47 for me right now and Its night so I'm leaving at 9:00 and I'm getting up at 8:00 I'm excited!!)
Uh, it is a great coaster.......but NOT the best in the world IMO. It IS in a beautiful park! AND in the fall you cannot go wrong though on that. Richard
in what way possible can this generic layout bearing wooden rollercoaster ever be considered one of the best wooden coasters in the world, when wooden coasters such as: El Toro, The Beast, The Voyage, & Boulder Dash, still stand tall to this day? The disrespect lol
🙄So many ways. This coaster has been standing tall since 1947 and taller since 1985 = 76 years when it was saved by Knoebels. It has been maintained better than any wooden coaster out there. It sits in a great park, outstanding dispatch operations, buzz bar restraints, no stapling allowed, one of the smoothest wooden coasters out there, offers an opportunity to pay only $4.00 to ride it and leave. And one other little thing, it has something called AIR-TIME. @murphTheEngineer10 El toro has been down more than Phoenix in its young life.
Of the ones you mentioned I've only ridden El Toro, but I still give Phoenix the edge. El Toro has a much better drop and the first two airtime hills are fantastic, but Phoenix is smoother, has perfect pacing, and the air time gets better and better as the ride goes on.
@@easynhonest this doesn't make it one of the best. Maybe one of the best well kept. But it's not good enough to make me travel miles and miles just to ride an old well mainted rollercoaster 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I honestly didn't realize how much airtime this had before seeing this video, the girl in the purple is basically standing at some points lol
This ride does have a lot of airtime. The bunny hops are one of its features

It was my first visit surprisingly, and 800th coaster! Yes, amazing park.

Watch the video and pay attention to how far the riders in the front row come out of their seats. There’s your answer.
