You still have to do server hardening - coolify helps with some security aspects, but you're still responsible for securing your vps/server. coolify focuses on deploying and managing your app, not replacing overall vps security.

Remember to choose the right branch to clone. In the video, hitesh selected the wrong branch to deploy and that gave the errors.

If it is just a static website without a back end, you don’t need a vps. You can just put the bundled code in a s3 bucket and put cloudfront or cloudflare cdn on top of it.
