when i try to install mediapipe then give error:- nERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement mediapipe (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for mediapipe
MediaPipe is not supported for newer versions of python. Only supports 3.7-3.10 I think versions

Bro ofcourse VScode, in pycharm you can only code python, but in VScode you can code every programming language+ you can customise the whole vs code using extensions

This is a brilliant project. I did a similar project with a single LED and also on a strip of ws2812 RGB LEDs, and build a dc motor buggy with controlled with hand gestures. I used micropython instead of arduino though. Mediapipe allows so many interesting projects - limitless possibilities

You might do this by setting up the openCV program to detect your hand and signal the controller when there is no hand in view to turn the lights off
