imo set "speed_style_motion_speed" in battle_param to 1 instead of 1.4, agent is comically fast
and turn off damage upgrades in the config file

Disabling damage upgrades in the config file doesn't seem to have any effect for Kiryu unfortunately. I tried, I have the mod.
