WOMEN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SHEPHERDS OVER GOD'S FLOCK!!
1 Corinthians 14:32-35 KJV - And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

This is how all the other religions have fallen into apostacy, for it starts with women being ordained to deacons and pastors, then you see them want to be more "inclusive" and no longer preach the word of God, when it comes to living in sin, such as people living together, or even homosexual relationships being supported and affirmed. We are going to see more and more of a greater apostacy in the very near future, just like we saw happen with United Methodist recently.

"No" to female pastors. That will not fix the problem, plus it's not even scriptural. Our Pastors are not teaching the full counsel of God anymore, nor do they teach about eschatology (end time events as it pertains to what is happening in the world today), and thats why attendance has dropped off. They are searching for the answers to their questions elsewhere. Many Pastors have become too political behind that pulpit. Preach the gospel of Christ.

It's men's fault all these women are in the pulpit. Men are in the bars drinking with their buddies. They aren't in church. If more men would stand up and be Godly these women wouldn't feel the need to preach. Like Gino said men stopped being leaders and left the church and now men are becoming women. It's all sick. Men are marrying men.

Two decades ago, an average of 42% of U.S. adults attended religious services every week or nearly every week. A decade ago, the figure fell to 38%, and it is currently at 30%. This decline is largely driven by the increase in the percentage of Americans with no religious affiliation -- 9% in 2000-2003 versus 21% in 2021-2023 -- almost all of whom do not attend services regularly.

The Southern Baptist Convention was formed in 1845 when "messengers" from the southern states who owned slaves were denied seats at the Philadelphia Association annual meeting. So the SBC was formed out of divisiveness. Today we have a repeat of this type of divisiveness. This is bigotry at it finest--bigotry "in the name of Jesus." The best preaching I have ever heard was by a female pastor from London, preaching in a Virginia church. She could preach circles around any male preacher. Her theology was deeply biblical and she used scripture for her "points." Her heart was full of love, evidenced by her acts of kindness and acceptance of people outside the church. Jealous male egos have gotten in the way of "loving thy neighbor as thyself." Some male pastors just cannot allow their egos to accept the fact that God does in fact "call" women to be "pastors and teachers." To state otherwise is plain and simple bigotry. Many male pastors are jealous of a woman pastor who they view as a competitor. Is their male ego so fragile they have a Humpty Dumpty complex, fearing a woman pastor will knock them off the wall? Too many lay persons put the pastor on a pedestal which can become very ego boosting and comfortable for a male. Any perceived threat to that recognition and power has to be put down. What genuine Christian would want to belong to an organization spouting hatred? No wonder SBC churches are dwindling.

We attended a large church and we left the church after realizing that the pastor was a middle of road guy only interested in the numbers and not standing up for what the Bible teaches. He said that if we didn't agree with him we should move on. We did and only had to visit two churches after which we made a decision. Both were Biblically strong with solid leadership and great Bible teaching. Baptists: There are a lot of great Bible teaching churches out there.Find one!!!
