My brother in Christ, you can put up to 8 drills on a single big ore node, which will mean they harvest it all much faster! Seeing the single drills brings me such agony now.
Well it could be a habit (like with me) due to a prior glitch where using more drills did drill it faster but made it produce less ore total from the node
You can make portals in the later stages, but there is another way. You just have to be a little creative and thinking outside the box! Craft some recall idols. Place - let's say in the Azeos Wilderness, where you're currently exploring or grinding the 2 bosses - a bed. Make a small mob area at your base. Let yourself get killed at your base, and you'll respawn at the bed you slept on. We used this quite a lot before we made portals. For farming, just use a scarlet hoe. 3x3 clearing, way faster than manually
My sweet summer child boss, you can use the iron garden hoe to pick up multiple crops so you almost don't waste any time on that. But i will say, I've been having way too much fun with this game, the progression feels all natural, I actually like the combat, it reminds me of Spiral Knights, being more focused around your movement and positioning rather than your raw dmg. Hell, I'll say it, this is one of the few games that I've haven't had to open up a guide or wiki to do a simple task, I only did it once to find out how to summon King Slime, but that was it, even in terraria, I'm still constantly checking the Wiki to check for stuff like chest loot, crafting recipes, etc, but in here it all feels a lot more natural.
I used to play Spiral Knights too! I just wanted to say that you're the first stranger I've encountered that ever mentioned the game, Spiral Knights is close to my heart and so is Core Keeper. Both games have heavenly soundtracks too 💞
1:28 it does not render everything in real time that is not near the boundaries of your screen but its data is saved and automation continues in a simulation state. Also i agree with the ost. Extremely atmospheric and it just works with the sfx and area in progression. Also hive mother is unbalanced lol.
Even diagonal attack patterns outside of ranged weapons would help alot with combat, but a little more guidance or importance to the bosses would be nice too.
Also just remember that the entire game is still in early access, and hasn’t been fully released yet. They even say themselves that the game is subject to change.
With boulders its bettet to have all 8 feed directly into a smelter that feeds into a chest. Also another major thing to implement is cardinal highways, just mine straight at x/y0 and go as far as you can going directly over water and walling off where enemie spawns
Hey great video man! 100% agree with your points I wish they made the combat better just by adding more than just ''a sword, but it's better and better'' and ''projectile goes brrrrr'' weapons. It's early access still, so there is hope! Lots of potential
I do like the Hand Hand Mortar, Flintlock Musket, and Fireball Staff early game that can be looted from the mobs. There are a few more you can loot mid - late game that help with stronger mobs.
i had core keeper on my radar for a while and when i actually played it i loved it i found myself playing with the instruments and maximizing my loot horde of ore and other resources i love the bosses azeos was the last one i fought the only problem i have with core keeper is not enough inventory doors not being able to be placed where ever i want and not being able to make custom sheet notes on the music stand with like fiber or something but the game has its charm it just needs polish
1) on fast travel, we now have portals. They do take a lot of resources, the mechanical parts and crystals actually get to be the biggest pain to gather after you get a few portals 2) you can gather crops with your scarlet hoe, it's SO much faster. 3) why are you not putting 8 drills on one ore node? I'm sincerely curious 4) go carts are only better than minecarts if you have prebuilt roads to the areas you want to go, and they're really only good for traversing the desert imo. Still want to use portals
How Terraria solve inventory problem quick sort button: right up is the rarest item left bottom is the common Auto chest fill: when you're near a chest it will find if (insert item) is found in that chest if it doest it will find another chest if there is no copy of (insert item) then it will stay (single stack item will still be affected) Favorite item: if you give (insert item) a favor it will not be affected by auto sort, auto trash ,auto fill chest ,auto take/fill How terraria solve long walk Npc pylon :Pylons can only be used when there are 2 or more living, housed NPCs (including the Old Man and town pets) At least a portion of the NPCs' housing tiles must be within this range, but the pylons will still work if the NPCs themselves walk out of this range. Pylons will not work if an NPC is not near their home. Pylons are only practical if there are 2 or more in the world. The system they form is known as the Pylon Network will work only when there is no invasion, lunar event, boss
I always layer conveyor belts under my rail line and have it go the four cardinal directions with the core being the center. Helps section off the map and makes easy conveyor lines back to base! Edit: It also makes travel a tiny bit quicker to the outer zones
I love how a great portion of the problems you have with the game are already solved, and you just haven't found the solution yet. also, remember: this game is still in early access. with everything it already has, it's crazy that this is still considered "early access"
You can use the hoe to quickly collect a 3x3 area of plants and dismantle the floor. It pains me to watch someone try to pick plants with their hands.
bought it yesterday and now i have 20 hours so id say its pretty good but theres still plenty room for improvement plus id like more weapons and items but this game has huge potencial
Its kinda weird, but having dodge equipment is kinda best in slot to avoid getting hit by every damn thing. Armor is kinda usless as you still take shitload of damage.
Good video but c'mon...this game is still in early access (and it's still better and more bug free than a lot of released AAA games)! I'm sure there will be still lot's of changes and finetuning until it is released.
My brother in christ, You can make the Rail in a straight line, it's faster, also My friend, if u use a crimsom hoe on the plants works wonders in farming
Adding to the "use a scarlet hoe" comments, consider getting the PlacementPlus mod for planting seeds -- being able to plant 24 seeds in a 5x5 grid with a single click is a _major_ improvement. (24 because the center square has a sprinkler in it) Also yeah I wish each biome had a warp point or that portals were cheaper to build q.q ALSO also, setting a chest next to a crafting bench lets you pull items from the chest when crafting. I like to set up 4 to 6 workbenches around one of the big 2x1 chests, for maximum efficiency
i was hoping youd talk a bit about the repetitiveness of the worldbuilding and progression, i have nearly 200 hours in the game that i played before the sunken sea update released and havent picked up the game since then besides briefly checking out the new stuff. and i must say the new biomes over the wall only featuring dungeons and the general wilderness area with similar enemies over and over is super disappointing to me. theres so much potential with the lore and themes of the game that i feel like arent being explored. maybe this wouldnt be such a big issue for me if the combat wasnt so unbearable. im also doubting the replayability value of the game, maybe i cant start a new save because i know how much grinding is ahead and finding it out what the world holds isnt a surprise or exciting anymore.
I will say that, from that display of your Rail Cart system, was highly inefficient. It looked like your trip was twice as long as it needed to be. I find its far more efficient to just make a Single track going in each Cardinal Direction from the Core, as Straight as possible, then make branches, which also go as straight as possible to their destination, after that, Secondary branches should be pretty short. By this point you should have Portals unlocked and you can just place Portals strategically at either key points or outside of a certain distance from eachother, and turn Railways into mid-range transport from your Portal hubs.
Your traveling could be a lot quicker if you just made the main tracks straight lines then branching off to points of interest. Also it's not that fair to compare it between Terraria and Don't Starve since those have been out years. (Terraria a decade).
Theres no way you have been picking your garden one by one... Im sorry but using a garden hoe is universal across all games, please brother save yourself
Man your missing a ton of stuff to be making some sort of review, you didn't even have a last level backpack upgrade... No highend armor or soul seeker, phantom spark or rune song. rail carts are trash with portals and the single drill with a massive conveyor is so wasteful. Food is so key for staying alive and doing max dmg which i feel like youve missed like why are you carrying gold larva meat around with you? throw a billion chests down or cook that up
I am not a huge core keeper fan. In fact I think the latest content update "Desert of Dull Endings" is horrible. However you left out so much for a four day old video I can only assume you made it well ahead of the latest content update which makes many of your points moot. I would not comment normally but you had the subscribed/unsubscribed bar so I thought it was worth pointing out to you that there is a reason for that. People will subscribe when they like what your are doing. Putting a graphic on the screen does not make anyone like what you are doing.
It doesn't. My content being competent is what makes people like what I'm doing. And I've been fairly successful in that. Also you seem really annoying.
@@bossdoor If what you are saying is true then you don't need to insert a graphic of subscribed vs unsubscribed views. Thanks for taking the time to let me know I seem annoying. Best of luck continuing your fairly successful content. Also you seem really insecure. .
It's the weekday so again a like, comment and sub will help a ton! Thanks again :)) Thanks to one of my patrons for providing the Terraria footage
After so many hours I only recently found out you can right click with a hoe to harvest crops on mass
you were talking about go karts making ur minecarts absolete, even tho teleporters do that already, im guessing your not at that part of the game yet
My brother in Christ, you can put up to 8 drills on a single big ore node, which will mean they harvest it all much faster! Seeing the single drills brings me such agony now.

Also, the Scarlet hoe digs in a 3x3 and the portal is instant travel between any point you've made one!
I never knew you could do that 👀👀 thank you
Scarlet hoe is even better, it picks up a 3x3 area
