@@X-tR3j not really a "new" team, goofy kylar and hades are 9ine core and dycha played faceit with them for god knows how long since they were all friends, only really new part is transferring to a new org and Glaive at IGL

Glaive is an amazing IGL and his players have such respect to his calls, no wonder they destroyed Astralis
Yep I think that's one reason Astralis didn't work anymore after they dominated. Team just became egoistic and didn't respect Gla1ve and his calls anymore. Gla1ve definitely deserves a team that respect him and his calls.
I think it's partially true
In his final months in astralis his T side calls were uninspiring and he looked like he didn't care enough.
You gotta understand that it was gla1ive who outcalled VP in Atlanta 2017 and cancelled Poland's most recent chance for major. It seems like a long time ago, but I can tell you from Polish perspective that all of old Astralis here in Poland are somewhat legendary for what they did, and gla1ve is respected especially. I bet these polish players understand very well that they're under the IGL who once beat them repeatedly and have no reason not to put their full trust in him. Not to mention kuben, who happened to be on the other side at the time. Nothing but pure respect for gla1ves IGL talents.

Ok guys don't worry Noobtralis is back. g1ave be like: "I taught you everything you know, BUT not everything I know 😊". Absolutely outcalled them them in vertigo, and just outfragged them in ancient. This astralis team is so inconsistent, on one hand they beat vitality and almost beat them twice, then they almost lose to BIG. Now in Katowice an actual tournament and not a glorified qualifer,they lose to Heroic on 1st match and get decimated by Ence on two of their comfort map peeks.
Feel bad for dev1ce and BlameF.
These two deserve a competent roster but they just don’t get it.

Blamef is the problem. This match is a good eye opener. Glaive not playing when csgo ended. But still outcalled blamef. Clearly exposed him and his limited calling / playbook.
Agree. I almost got the feeling the match was thrown the way ancient was played out. All rounds almost finished in the matter of 1 min. No defaults with fakes. It was really lackluster. Cadeau to glaive to go insane, really enjoyed watching him play even though I rooted mostly for Astralis

Astralis really went from a small player-owned team into a soulless corporate one. I only ocassionally watch Astralis games due to nostalgia but stopped bothering to when they benched gla1ve and xyp. Like, they weren't playing well but they stuck by Astralis all this time and they were familiar faces we can cheer for. Now you got dev1ce who first broke up Astralis, blameF cosplaying as an IGL, 2 riflers from Heroic and a random. I'm glad gla1ve was the on to put them down, the disrespect of picking Ancient against him as if he wasn't the IGL that made Astralis so good in Ancient when it first released.

Current ENCE lineups maybe not the best and too early to judge for, but these kind of players are might what gla1ve wanted. Kind of player who ready to take initiative, constructive yet playing with high pace style. Not passive lurker (blamef) and awper (lucky, farlig) like in his previous lineups in astralis.
If +gla1ve -blamef in current astralis lineups, no offense to ENCE but i think the ceiling would be greater than his current team.
Once goofy learns his timings a little more hes gonna be an absolute monster for Ence.

As an Astralis fan, never was I so happy to see Astralis lose. Letting gla1ve go was their worst mistake. Now he's shwoing baitf levels.
When they bring back device, I was very happy but then they drop xyp and glaive. I immediately knew that this team wasn't going to make it. A superstar like device deserved a better lineup to build up around him.

Ence was left in a pretty uncomfortable situation were they lost 4 members and with them their spots for this years tournament, they sign the 9inch core (kyler, hades and goofy) and with them their spots (thought not as many) in this year tournaments

It feels pretty dumb that 1 bo1 loss and 1 bo3 loss eliminates a team from the whole tourney, especially with mr12 I think they should only be playing bo3s at tier 1. Nevertheless great calling and dragging by glaive, ence were the better team today by far
