I was working on this painting last night. Thanks to your tutelage I was able to produce something that was humbling for me. Just as I finished I had the urge to run out and order Timbit's whilst dining at a genuine Tim Horton's. That evening road trip lasted a week as I live in the southern United States, however, my painting turned out better than I imagined. Thank you, dear, again!

This is an awesome way to show the process behind the complex process of realistic painting. Especially for someone who never went to a fine arts painting class.
A very informative painting session. I watched to learn about the rocks and how to make them look so realistic. Timbits was very cute. I love the break to see the animals when a painter shows theirs to us as we watch these videos.
I have to say, you are a wonderful teacher. Your explanations and talking about what you are doing while you demonstrate have helped me as I learn more than any other person I've watched. I'm just learning to paint in the last 6 weeks or so after being a lifelong arts and crafts person, always wanting to paint. My kids are all grown now so diving in and loving it! Thank you!
After watching all the trial and error and testing for layering, color testing and color mixing I am convinced that becoming a monthly Patreon member for all those lessons I read about is the way for me to go. I loved this lesson. As a beginner it’s a relief to NOT see instant perfection and instead watch how time and patience and “messy” pays off in the end.
You are so right about us newbies tend to do strokes on branches, tap and drag really makes a huge difference :) 💜🤍💜 It still amazes me that such small details can bring a whole painting to life, it´s so magical to watch! I'm 47 this week and dipped my toe in acrylic today for the 1st time. I thought I made a decent effort, then i seen this vid and thought it was a photograph. Insane skills. Very impressed. Well done. :D

I always tend to have the biggest problem getting my tones dulled down enough to create the most depth. I tend to over saturate every single time D:
Would probably be a good idea to take a frontal shot of the final product ,before the end.
Am I the only one who paints the sides of the canvas as well?
