It has the same value as any other university. It is a real degree and accredited and Professors or instructors are graduated from different prestigious universities across the USA or other countries. We are over 125000 students by now. Hi Qusay, for those who take two courses per term, they will be able to complete the program in fifteen months. A term with us lasts for 9 weeks. Keep in mind that we do not offer a PhD program at this time. Outside our partnerships with LIU, UC Berkeley, U of Edinburgh, NYUAD, Effat U, and McGill, the acceptability of the credits you earn at University of the People is at the complete discretion of the institution you present the credits to. If you are looking to use your UoPeople degree to apply for another institution's program, please verify that our degree will be acceptable at the other institution by asking them directly.

Please how is 'university of the people' free? when the examination fee cost more than most African university fees.
$4000 is well over 2.5 million Naira, 5 million kwacha and the list goes on... 1 million Naira can get you through most universities in Nigeria, and it's still seen as very expensive due to fraudulent global exchange rates that is structured to disadvantage Africa.
So how is it free again?
Because it can't be for the people who need it the most, cos they still can't afford it, I think it is just a way to gather more customers from the class that can afford it.
