Farming in Northwest Montana | Tryg Koch - MGGA 2023 Past President

Tryg grew up farming all of his life on dairy farms thinking he'd never farm his own farm. Fast forward 17 years, he's a partner in farming 2500 acres with over 70 landlords. They farm square bales of hay, canola, mustard, wheat, barley and fiber hemp. In Flathead County, there are many challenges with large scale landscaping, losing acres to infrastructure and fast growing traffic.
