- In the fast-paced and morbidly kitschy game Hit Z Road, you and your fellow players embark on a road trip going south from Chicago along America's famous Route 66 - now infested by zombies. As you travel though a deck of adventure cards rife with dangers, you battle zombie hordes, drive abandoned school buses, scavenge for gas and bullets, and explore a darkened, tainted American countryside full of shambling undead, haunted carnivals, and plumes of toxic gas. Your goal is to stay alive until you reach the safe, sandy beaches of the California coast. This video shows you how the game is played with 2 players.

Others have complained about the "snowball" effect. Meaning if you take an early lead in bidding you'll most likely will be able to outbid others for the better path & resources assuring your win. And just as likely if you start out poorly you'll continue to be hammered by bad paths due to lake of resources. Some valid points though I think the dice are the great equalizer. Yes there random but can knock down a runaway leader quickly. Some also suggest hiding resources so there's less of "I know what you have so I can dpi to beat you". There's a player shield printout on BGG for that variant. Solo play may be weaker due to no bidding but still works with the theme. Overall a fun game.
Your auction tokens go back to zero at the end of the auction phase and your meeple should be moving around on the cards. :)
I have only played the solo game but I really like the game. Wonderful thematic design also.
