12:22 Don't be scared about hostile fauna while in your prawn suit. The Prawn is heavily armored and can take a lot of hits before it is going down - and you can also fight back by using the regular arm or the drill arm to punch/drill hostiles in the face to scare them off. Don't bother with the torpedo arm - the prawn can actually fight back unlike the seamoth or cyclops.
As for handling the prawn suit -yes it needs a bit of practice. The best way to use it is jump first, then while off the ground use the grappling arm to gain momentum. It is important to release the grappling hook before you reach the target to keep the momentum up. When climbing high walls you can use the grappling arm to wait until your jump jets are recharged - just don't release the grappling arm, hang a bit at the wall until the jump jets are recharged and keep going.
As soon as you get the jump jet upgrade (and with a bit of practice) the prawn is actually the fastest vehicle in the game, going even faster than the seamoth - and much, much faster than the Cyclops.

Okay, so here is a step-by-step plan/suggestion of continuation:
Step 1: Try to calm down. Remeber the following bits of information: The prawn suit is able to withstand multiple attacks of leviathans without actually being destroyed. It is tougher than it looks. Equip the stasis rifle (just in case) because it can freeze objects and creatures for a short time and save your life. Power is limited! Up is the way to go!
Step 2: Exchange the torpedo arm for the drill arm and completely mine one of the large chunks of nickel. Also get at least two pieces of sulfur!
Step 3: Fully fill up on saturation and thirst and grab 2-4 mellons for travel, while temporarily abandoning the cyclops as well as the building materials currently in your inventory.
Step 4: Using Gander, retreat back to base and prepare for the rescue of the cyclops like so:
make 6 power cells out of all your empty batteries.
Get the jump jet upgrade for Gander with the materials you collected before retreating from the lost river.
Make sure to have all your tools charged.
Take with you the materials for two power transmitters (presumably needed for thermal plant to send power to your lost river base).
AGAIN, fill up on your vitality stats and, if possible, bring nutrient blocks (two) for the journey.
Step 5: Get back to the cyclops, retrieve the base building materials and go build the base first (you may need to add a storage module to the prawn - trust me on this).
This should do the trick. But really, you gotta calm down before taking further irritational action and overlooking important information. Pause the game and focus for a bit :)

Little advice: grapple yourself on the ghostie and then drill it like there's no tomorrow. Repair your Prawn Suit whenever necessary and keep going until it's dead. That's the easiest way to kill any leviathan, which, by the way, don't respawn if killed.

  • @TheGreatWent2112
    @TheGreatWent2112 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

Okay you got yourself in a bit of a predicament here, but the cyclops didn't explode! Some people mentioned killing the juvenile which is not at all worth the time or power. Instead your first order of business should be to:
    1) Get out and repair the cyclops. You were trying to repair it with a laser cutter, which gave me a laugh but sadly doesn't work. Thankfully you have a fully charged repair tool.
    2) jump down the falls you were standing next to and start building your base around a thermal spire. Make sure your moonpool and scanner room are very close to your thermal plant because you don't have power transmitters. The thermal plant should be placed as close to the tip of the spires as possible (sometimes using a foundation to do that helps)
    3) Make a power cell charger[s]. All the resources you need are found in the lost river
    4) Drill for nickel ore; it looks like the one in front of you at 40:36. And grab a bit of sulphur
    5) Leave for the surface with a fully charged cyclops. Use the ones from your prawn suit if you run out again
From here you should return to the lost river with the prawn suit jump jet upgrade, prawn suit depth module Mk1, cyclops sonar, creature decoys and extra power cells. I hope this helps you get through this stressful scenario, because an even bigger challenge... and threat awaits you!

Repair ducky asap. Ducky can explode. Leaving Ducky with Ghostie is a risk because Ghostie might keep damaging it. Repair before leaving. Bring lots of spare power cells. You chose a bad LR entrance because I don't think ducky will fit down that hole but try, otherwise go back and find a different way in. The ghosties in the LR are babies btw, try scanning one. Use chic plant pot with lantern fruit trees to save space and make ducky prettier inside. Jet upgrade asap.
Big tip: LR has most resources you need, however some are missing so stock them up when you go down. The resources you need to bring (because you can't find them down there) are as follows: Acid Mushrooms, Creepvine + Seed Clusters, and blood kelp + blood oil. Plant them all in your lost river base. Look around the lost river and you'll find everything else you need including table coral. There's fish to eat there too. Thermal plants are like solar panels for heat so build base around hydrothermal vents. Hope that helps!

The Cyclops should be able to go through all of the possible entrances, some are just more tricky than others. This one with all the underwater trees is just the most difficult one in my opinion. The easiest one should be the one in the bulb zone, near the 'diamonds' spot she marked. The one with the Reaper above. Once you get past the Reaper it's by far the widest entrance and therefore the easiest to get the cyclops through.

No doubt, Lana, in this video you committed the most mistakes and got severely punished for it.
Gander: The more I watch your videos, the more I am convinced that it was a mistake for me to recommend NOT getting the jump jet upgrade. I'm sorry for that. Also, put the drill arm back on. Its better.
Ducky: Ducky ran out of power due to you excessively using the shield generator. Ducky's power cells are drained in less than two minutes with the shield on. Instead, travel at slow speed, and turn on silent running. That makes you largely invisible to Ghostie.
Hey, you blundered right past one small chunk of nickel and one large deposit of it whilst fleeing from Ghostie. So yes, you found nickel:)
Ducky is repaired with the repair tool. You go outside, and repair the gashes in Ducky's hull. That restores the HP.

2 build the efficiency module for the cyclops (300% increase in energy efficiency!). I don't think you have it yet.
3 use the 2 cells from the PRAWN to power the cyclops for now, leave the PRAWN here for now and come back later.
4 make a base thermal vent powered in the river, to recharge power cells.
optional : kill all the levs.

When in the tree area where you stranded Ducky, always try and stay near the trees, they block the leviathan when it tries to attack. The cyclops doesnt really get damaged when you hit something, only by creature attacks (in my experience at least) so when you think youre stuck, just press forward and you should move eventually. If you do want to pick up things in the prawn, just take out one of the arms. And you can use the drill arm to beat the shit oit of the leviathans

  • @pfang32
    @pfang32 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

The top level of moon pool upgrades is for both seamoth and prawn. And the grapple arm gets in the way of the jump boost most times. You want to use boost to get high then grapple when it runs out. Or use grapple to move laterally, pulling fast, then let go and boost at same time to slingshot yourself across the landscape. Goose may be able to run but gander can fight. Grapple those leviathan, hold on and drill arm them for a long while and they will die

    • @pfang32
      @pfang32 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

You can engage grapple when boost runs out to just hang and refill boost. Let go of grapple and start boosting again. Grapple only propels you if you have momentum already propelling you.

Drill arm deals damage, I know I know, it sucks but, if you can manage to grapple a ghost leviathan and use the drill arm on it at the same time, you can deal enough damage so that it starts fleeing from you. As for how to get out of the current situation, grab some marblemelons so you don't starve or dehydrate, go back to base from Blood Kelp in Gander, for now Ducky is a lost cause without power cells. You got the right of it, go back, get some power cells and get Ducky out of the lost river. As for how to traverse the lost river and beyond, Gander is basically a necessity if you don't want to navigate the claustrophobic spaces with Ducky, bc Goose can't go very deep by comparison. You definitely want to max out Gander's depth modules, and if you haven't already you might want to invest in the Prawn Suit Jump Jet upgrade, this will make moving around with Gander a lot easier.

Okay here’s my advice (as someone who’s never quite been THIS screwed but is kinda scared of the LR):
    - repair quickly
    - forget gathering, take gander back to your base (yes it sucks but that’s your best option)
    - come back either in either goose or gander with the power cells AND BEACONS (preferably extra power cells, I usually travel with a full set of spares. Resource heavy but it’s worth not being as worried in deep areas). You can always go back for gander if you’ve got goose
    - along the way drop a couple beacons marking your entrance/exit path
    - dock vehicle
    - repair ducky
    - use your cameras to steer and quickly navigate down that drop in the cyclops
    - look for an area glowing BLUE, which shouldn’t be too far ahead
    - mark the path you took there with beacons
    Notes/observations:
    - use your cameras to steer, especially screw(?) and keel. Keel if you’re descending, a top camera if you’re near the top. Learning to do this is a literal game changer lol
    - you ran out of power because you were running the shield constantly. You can safely toggle it just when something goes yellow or red or the radar.
    - creature decoys are a lifesaver dealing with the LR ghosties
    - i personally waste energy on silent running and cyclops sonar, if you have the latter, when im going into the LR. You can turn SR off once you’re past the ghostie, and the ghostie will probably leave you alone. Also make sure you’re traveling “ahead slow” to generate less noise, I don’t remember what speed you were using. I pretty much travel slow through the entire river tbh
Not trying to backseat but that’s how I’d get out of this, and you did ask for help! Don’t worry, it’ll be okay. And if the ghostie hits your vehicle (goose/gander) and it’s at full health, you should be able to take one hit and be okay! You’ll have time to run and repair and hopefully leave the area before it comes back for more. Also, don’t be afraid to drill arm it if you have to.

  • @pfang32
    @pfang32 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

Use the cameras! Take a full set of backup (6) power cells, get the engine efficiency module so you can use the silent running etc. You can bump into any wall or tree and it doesnt actually hurt the cyclops. You can get lodged but it does fit in pretty much every entrance

    • @DaveF.

You can store the other arms in Gander to swap them out as needed. Note that when attacked in Gander you only took 9 damage, you can easily get in a fist fight with a Ghostie, getting out to repair when he circles around you.
Don't use the shield when you're not actively being attacked.
Yellow marks on the radar are enemies that are aggressive to a Cyclops but are not currently attacking, red are those that are attacking.
There's a blue sphere in the centre of the radar that shows the range of your sound which changes size based on what engine level you are at and what you're doing.
It grows when you start moving which is what caused the Ghostie to hear you and attack.

  • @GGBlaster

The prawn suit is better, it just has a learning curve.
    (1) As you probably noticed, the grapple has a limited range. Aim closer rather than farther.
    (2) To slingshot the prawn suit, aim a little ways forward while walking forward. Fire the grapple arm, jump once it starts pulling, then release the grapple.
    *_Aim, walk, shoot, jump, release._*
If you time the release just right, you’ll go flying far and high. Use your jump button to guide your flight as needed.
    (3) To climb vertically with only one grapple arm, start a short distance from the wall you want to climb. Either grapple or jump and grapple, and let the grapple pull you up (don’t use your jump jets). Once the grapple has pulled you all the way in, wait until your jump fuel is full. Once it’s full, start holding jump, release the grapple, and you’ll start to hover. Before you run out of fuel, aim at a higher spot and grapple to that. Then rinse and repeat. Again, make sure to wait while hanging on the grapple - the fuel recharges slower when you’re not on solid ground.
    *_Grapple, wait, hover, grapple, repeat._*
    (4) If you have two grapple arms, climbing is much easier as you can just Spider-Man your way up, and slingshotting is more powerful because using both grapples will pull you harder.
    (5) You can slingshot vertically, too (double grapples recommended). Just aim up instead of forward, and ignore the “walking forward” step. Stand a little closer to the wall you’re using so you can get as much vertical momentum as possible.
    *_Aim, shoot, jump, release._*
Sometimes you can naturally guide the Prawn suit to land on the ledge you’re trying to reach, but if not, use your grapple(s) to guide your landing.
    (6) To collect items in the Prawn suit, just unequip one of its arms. As long as it has at least one three-fingered arm, it can pick up items.
    (7) To defend yourself, either use the drill arm or the regular arm. You might still get hit or grabbed, but just keep hitting until the creature runs away. Use that time to run away yourself or repair the suit.

At first: I love your playthrough and you did a great job facing your fears so far!
So there are a few ways to get out of this situation. Some of them might require more bravery than others and all of them require a bit preparation.
At first you should know that he usually doesn't attack the Cyclops directly as long as it's engines are offline. As soon as you start them, the Cyclops will generate noise which makes the leviathan go after it. This does not count for the Prawn Suit or the Seamoth - they can and will always be targeted if they are close to the Ghosty, so it's actually safer to park them somewhere safe and go for the Cyclops with the Seaglide.
    - The first step would be to repair the hullbreaches on the Cyclops. Is a bit scary, but should be doable as long as you don't park your other vehicles too close, for the reason mentioned above.
    - The next step would be to bring a few charged power cells to the Cyclops. 6 would be optimal, but 2 or 3 should already be enough to get him out of the area later. Exchange the cells but don't start the engines yet! Now come the optional ways to get rid of the Ghosty near you:
    - The Prawn Suit Rodeo: Equip the grapple and the drill arm. Try to grapple the leviathan by aiming at or directly behind it's head. Hold onto him while using the drill arm to cause as much damage as you can. This is a bit tricky since it requires a bit practice with the grappling arm, but is actually a common practice of dealing with leviathans among players who don't mind killing them.
    - The Closeup Knife: Even scarier but about as efficient as the first method. Get the stasis rifle, your thermo blade and your seaglide ready. Go close to the Ghosty until he goes towards you, charge your stasis rifle. Aim for his head while he's coming towards you and release the trigger. Once he's in stasis swim close and aim for it's neck with you'r blade. It needs a lot of hits and you will need to stasis him oner or two times more to get more hits in, but this way you can also kill him.
Both methods above involve killing him, which would deal with him for good since he doesn't respawn. You could call it the Marguerit way as in "If something tries to kill you, kill it first".
    - The third more peaceful, but perhaps even more scary way: Decoys. Make at least 3 or 4. Approach the location with your Seaglide. At best from an angle that leads him away from your cyclops. Drop a decoy that he will eventually go for if it's within it's patrol radius. Once he swims towards it, swim towards the open waters and release the next decoy on the way. Repeat until you lured him away from the location. This method doesn't kill him, but is definately more scary since you're on your seaglide only and the decoys would be your only weapon. So i'd suggest to bring the stasis rifle as well just in case.
    - Now that i wrote the Decoy way, that could actually work as well: After exchanging the power cells, fill the decoy tube with decoys. Then, when the ghosty is a bit further away on his patrol, start the engines in slow mode to try to sneak away. If you see the ghosty coming in your direction: Drop a decoy, change to medium speed and silent running and try to get away. In case the first decoy runs out too quick, deploy another one and keep going. I never tested this method, but it should work as well with the downside that the leviathan will still be there later.

The upgrades to the Prawn Suit that I always make (4 X successful hardcore runs) in order to brave the Lost River and Lava Zones are: Drill arm; Depth Module MK #1; Hull Reinforcement; Energy Efficiency, .and most importantly the Jump Jet Upgrade. You can find enough nickel and crystalized sulphur in the Lost river using Goose. You only need about 12 bits of each to complete the game. Of all the ways to enter the lost river with a Cyclops - you probably picked the worst (the safest for the Prawn or Seamoth though - trees = cover). To avoid leviathans with the Cyclops just go slow and occasionally use silent running if they get close. In the lower left of the Cyclops HUD you will see two bars - one is your health, the other is how much noise you are making. You repair the Cyclops from the outside.
Also the Prawn can punch or drill annoying creatures. With enough skill you can kill a Leviathan with one and it can really take a beating.
That drop at 45:25 is where you need to go - and where you will link up with the other entrances to the lost river. Just remember to bring some beacons if you explore down there to make your life easier.

  • @Prantass
    @Prantass 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

You should leave the cyclops there, use the prawn suit to explore, your upgrades should be enough to manage a way deeper and also out, or at least closer to a spot where you can zoom out swimming to surface, it's a struggle, but doable. Get the drill arm and heat knife, eat cooked fish from killing it with the knife, get gel sacks for water, find the material you need, and go as further deep as you can. The prawn suit can only pick things up if you're not using an upgraded arm.

The best way for me is to find a different entrance to the lost river than that one, usually via bloodkelp zone. You need to smash the cyclops through a bit but you'll eventually get there. Even with a nice place where I always build a base myself. And when it comes to the Prawn Suit a grappling arm with the boost and a drill arm gets you a long way in both gathering resources as well as defending yourself. Just when you hook on to something with the grappling arm, use your boost to propel you forward faster. It's actually quite nimble once you get a hold of the controls.

Good news, you don't need to worry about dropping down in lost river, you throw Gander on the Cyclops only drop out to mine stuff. You can take it all the way to the end of the game. last place you can walk around in the prawn suit
she's done exactly what I thought she would. She's using seamoth as a crutch.

Your best course of action is to go back to the bloodkelp zone in Gander and then send it up to the surface with the seaglide (lights off past the ghost, you'll have to remove the left power cell from Gander as that one powers the always on lights, you can put this power cell in Ducky just to get air going again and make sure Ducky is off (lights and engine) before leaving, 1 cell won't be enough to do anything other than power the life support) then go straight back to base. Gander doesn't have the power to get through the lost river if you keep going forward and might not even have the power remaining to get back up the bloodkelp and floating island zones.
Then return in goose with 6-8 charged power cells for Ducky and Gander, a stasis rifle (full charge and extra battery), your thermoblade (250 strikes, which can be done in 10 full blasts from the stasis rifle) and/or 40 (30 is all that's needed, but extra just in case) gasopod pods and remove the leviathan from the equation before rescuing Ducky. The prawn suit method of killing leviathans is a lot more difficult for first timers.
Gander is not necessary, at all, for the lost river zone since you have crystalline sulfur. Just the zones AFTER the lost river (which are actually much more open so the upgraded jump jet is all you need).
As a final note, the best entrance to the lost river for the cyclops is on the north east edge of the bulb zone. It's big, has no obstructions, and only one ghost leviathan (instead of two) between you and the ghost tree where you want to set up the base. There is a reaper near that entrance, but if you find it with Goose first and put a beacon, going straight there from your base will avoid it every single time.
If you have issues with removing the ghost leviathans in the lost river for content reasons, you JUST got all the content you need out of this ghost leviathan. You can move on, they're really not worth keeping in the game after the first major disaster with them that everyone experiences. After that, they're just an annoyance to deal with on your back and forth trips through the lost river.
Oh, almost forgot. You'll have to hit the head with the stasis rifle, just like the scanner, it doesn't work on the tail. That's the other thing too, while in stasis you can scan them as well.

How I would try to get out of this, um, situation:
    - Take a deep breath
    - check requirements for a powercell charger - you may need to find some rubies but these are plentiful below
    - grab 1 powercell (the mostly depleted one) from Gander and put in Ducky, making sure to turn off engine and lights on Ducky. This will give you air.
    - repair Ducky. This has to be done from the outside.
    - remove torpedo arm and equip drill arm on Gander - with power you can bring him inside Ducky to make it easier.
    - remove all dead powercells from Ducky and put in inventory of Gander or personal inv.
    - check and be certain you have the materials for a moonpool (I believe that is what you were planning), or just a simple tube and hatch, and a thermal power station with you or gander
    - take Gander and jump down that big hole. It is a long way and he won't be able to get back up right now but thats OK
    - go forward past any hostiles (Gander will be fine) and find thermal vents
    - build the moonpool or just a tube/hatch, thermal generator, and once inside the powercell charger.
Once you have all of the cells charged up you can use your seaglide to get back to Ducky and bring him down to pick up Gander. The big hole is a tight fit for Ducky, but he is able to navigate it down to your new makeshift base. From there, you can explore (there is another exit to the surface that is easier) or take Ducky back home and curl up in the bed for a bit before preparing again :).
Good luck! I am enjoying the series immensely. Hang in there!

    Second Part:
20:49: There is no reaper there. You can literally vertically 📐perpendicularly position Ducky🦆above the lifepod 2 signal and then slowly decend all the 500 m down and only need minor adjustments to the sides. There is an edge at about 100 m and around 340 m down.
    21:40 Power⚡ at 86%
21:54 This is it. Bottom on the pod 22:51, face towards south-west.
The slope down there is shallow.
22:06 Yello🟡 means a creature is near you. Red🔴 means they have heard or seen you, but not attacked yet.
If they attack, you will get a yello🟨 triangle (hold on, that is a square...)⚠ with an ugly face in it like this😖 22:59 on the left side in between your health⛑ bar and you noise 🔊 bar.
But that still does not mean hull damage. As I said, you have 20% of auto-reloading shield, so medium creatures will not inflict any damage. Only the largest of predators present a threat to the vehicle. You are furthermore immune to warpers🌀.
22:35 Amp-eels 🚥 (in German "Ampel" means signal light, so writing it without a dash looks confusing to me) are medium size creatures.
Oh, I have my gamma at 0.85, idk if that helps for your vision.
22:38 Because they stoopit! Stoopit ampeelz 🚥
23:38 Yes it is. The shield that you are always turning on, it only helps while standing still.
23:42 "This is using more power than what it's worth!"
23:48 Okay let's [Pause] here real quick.
As I said the entrance is shallow. Up to a ground level of 500 m the reaper will not come for you. (That is where I built my base, if you have seen the video on Discord.)
Now you can see the pale white blood root there. The entrance looks a bit like this:
    ]_)(__🩸_o[
with ] + [ being the walls left and right
    )( being a column
🩸being the blood root and 0 being a small tunnel that leads into the cave as well.
24:13 You can see the root on your right and the column on your left.
Glowy branches in front cannot be corals, because corals only grow in shallow water where the sun reaches and temperatures are warm. At least in the real world, who knows how his works on 4546B.
24:19 You are now here: ]_)(_🦆_🩸_o[
Below yourself is the first step into the lost river with its 🤢🧪🤮 healthy mist.
Between left wall and column there is an easy access and exit, shallow, easy to handle for Gander🦢 and a hideout from the 👻ghostafiaphant.
Between column and 🩸 it's a bit steeper, but still manageable.
To the right side you will have to leap over a small step.
There are already chunks ready to mine, but beware of the 👻!
24:35 Don't mind the red 🔺, they are only proximity alerts. Your navigation here is excellent!
    25:02 Power⚡ at 51%. Remember 23:42?
Yes, that is the hole. (*cough* Should I draw some hair around it? *cough*)
25:20 (*cough* That's what he said. *cough) Okay I'll stop! I am angry right now, because I am writing this for the third time now, please have mercy with me!
25:34 No, the supercalifragilistic silent mode is the button below the cameras with the crossed out wave. And it takes up more energy.
    25:48 I know who's screwed soon! (*goddamnit*!)
26:18 It is like these glowy branches🥬 of the dead would reach at you like the boney🦴fingers of that greecy supervisor at summercamp, who insisted to take the bunk bed below you.
26:25 There is a way and I am sure you can do it from the way how delicately you can handly Ducky🦆, I'll show you.
27:01 Save that image! A big branch🥬 of deadwood coming from your right (north) and mossy tangling things on the left.
The tip of that branch is pointing to the exit towards the next lower cave (south). This one: 40:00
    27:11 "I'm so sorry, Ducky🦆!"
27:16 Like the little cat🐈‍⬛, that climbed up a tree🌳 and meowing because it could not come down anymore with the dog🐕 barking from below.
27:27 You are now turning towards west again, that is the former righthand side of the cave. This area is also interesting, but for later and I am wondering if you remember what I told you once.
Now the entrance, where you came in is to your right (north).
The exit towards the next cave is to your left (south).
    27:46 Power⚡at 51%
28:00 He no see you. He only can hear you, if you are noisy. When he growls, he locates you for a second, but if you fü

41:40 Okay here is the thing:
You now have one energy cell with 80%
41:12 Drill arm, to make more noise.
42:31 Oh now we can get out of Gander🦢!!! I just spat tea on my keyboard...
43:50 "Do you by any means have the time to talk about our lord and saviour Steve the Reaper?"
      44:36 "Hello, Ma'am?"
45:10 "No, seriousely, Ma'am, I have an offer to make! Listen..."
45:23 Yes, I can see that.
45:29 No. Nothing that can't be repaired.
45:32 You didn't have the time for it, but boy, this second part was a rollercoaster!!!
45:34 I wouldn't. You need energy⚡ cells, some food 🍔 and a good night sleep 💤 now. Ingame. Off-game you probably have already and are ready for the next try!
      45:46 Power⚡ at 69%
46:03 No, that is right! But you did not survive. Twice...
46:37: Your power⚡cells are empty. The reaper is blind. What problem should it be?
      47:54 Let's think this through!
Gander🦢 has not more than 63% of ⚡left. Or have you saved before you emptied out Gander's🦢 energy⚡?
If you jump down there 40:00, what do you think is going to happen? Starve down there?
You can either take your time and get back up again, but your energy⚡ will probably not be enough for it to go back to base 🕍. Best case you make it up to Ducky🦆 and you sit there with both vehicles, no power⚡ and resultingly no oxygen either.
You can try to switch Ganders🦢 power cell into Ducky🦆 and try to move it with that little bit of energy that is left - where to? Wrestling the Leviathan again?
Go down the exit at 40:00? See above.
No: The only possibility you have is take Gander🦢 and get as far up as you can to at least get near the surface or the next base, so if Gander🦢 runs out of energy⚡, you can still reach oxygen somehow in time.
Then you will have to retrieve them either one by one, or - foresake them down there, rebuild as good as you can and chose another way in.
Worse of the worst case scenarios: Deplete all the energy⚡ left, be unable to swim the 500 m back to the surface, die trying and respawn in Ducky🦆 or Gander🦢 over and over again but with no hope to reach anywhere ever again.
Then get angry at Subnautica and never touch one of those games again.
But that's not how it's gonna be, is it?
So 🎶puff up your chest! Take a deep breath! It's gonna be okay! 🎶 🙂😊

    and lastly for future advice.
Head up as best as you can and get power cells. I usually run with 9 and have more than I need... you'll want a min of 9 and not to equip more than 3 at once. So if you panic you run out of battery and eventually be left alone. A dark, shut down cyclops can sit right beside a reaper or ghost and be left alone.
Just like swimming with sharks in real life, the more noise and flailing around you do, the more likely they are to examine you in ways you don't want.

  • @baslifico

Nothing smaller than a reaper can damage your cyclops, so ignore Creature attack warnings for eels, etc
One of the best ways to kill anything smaller than a leviathan is to descend on it from above in the cyclops. Will take out almost anything (and if it survives the initial hit, just keep descending until it's dead).
Place a scanner room somewhere near leviathans.
Power it (bioreactor,. thermal plant, solar panels, whatever)
Set it to scan for leviathans
Now you have a HUD marker to avoid any time you're in the area
    Crouch is "C"

you have a few options, but what i would do is take all of the power cells out of ducky, and take them back home with gander. once you're home, put those power cells into charge and take goose to the aurora. inside the aurora is something that you want- an engine efficiency module. you'll find it in the first terminal inside the room you repaired once. also something you need to get right away (you'll have to make it) is the jet upgrade for the prawn suit and the thermal reactor module. in any hot place, you'll be able to charge gander by just leaving him somewhere hot (don't park him on exposed lava, but anywhere else hot is fine like vents). you can also make hull reinforcement if you haven't yet, and i like to expand the storage by one as well.
NOW- once you've got all your supplies (take ingredients for a modification station with you as well) go back to ducky. make sure you put that engine efficiency module in the cyclops and don't use the sonar or shield as much as you were. what you do is shut the engine off and wait for the creature to move away, then move the cyclops. only use the shield when your cyclops is over half broken or if you need to turn it on for a second to remove lava larvae from your ship.
and remember, its better to leave than stay still. they will only follow you so far if you inch away from them. just go, they won't follow forever. use the "silent running" if you really can't get them to leave you alone, but remember any of those modes use a lot of power, as soon as you're out of dodge, turn it back off.
important: you will be more maneuverable in the prawn when you upgrade the jump jet. that is something that takes priority if you can't upgrade other things. it takes a bit to get used to using the grapple to slingshot your prawn across the floor, but once you do learn how to use it well it can be even faster than the seamoth. try sending the grapple out a few meters in front of you onto the ground and walking forward, and release before you reach the grabbing point right after jumping off the ground with your jump jet. practice while you're at home!

extra note: get lithium from the alien island, its coating the caves on land. take your gravity gun (with extra batteries) for the crabs, works wonders. you can also use that propulsion canon to grab sulfur in the river without physically getting into it, if you can spot it above. its perfect! (if you're using keyboard, left click to grab the item you pick up) just keep the prawn close so you can get out of there in an emergency and you'll be fine. you can find nickel in the area that ghost is in, but you'll have to use the drill arm. if you wanna find nickel deeper down, there's some in the cove tree area.

You chose the worst possible entrance to the lost river... Hole would be fine afaik (dunno, never found that place when I played, but I remember it connects to the rest of the lost river). The degasi entrance is a bit tricky, but once you pass the first hole it is easy. But the entrance by the lifepod... ugh! Those trees are freaking hard to navigate around with the cyclops. I'd suggest taking one power cell out of the prawn and using it in the cyclops, but chances are, you'll use all the power and still be stuck. Especially if you keep overusing the shield.
Just take all power cells out and go home by foot, recharge them and come back. It will be a good practice with the grappling arm anyway. Or if you decide to stick around a little more, look for nickel for the last prawn upgrade and then go home. Heck, you could even get back to your base using the seaglide alone, there are lots of options. Whatever you choose, just calm down and plan before you act. We're all rooting for you, you can do it!

Torpedo arm is useless unless you make a fully combat proven suit just for that purpose. And you have to build torpedoes all the time.
Drill Arm or vanilla arm can do damage. Overtime for the Drill and Punch for the vanilla.
And the Prawn is vastly more resistant than the Seamoth, although not indestructible.
If you want to fight a given creature with the drill arm, you can also aim the grapple at it to get into close contact and, while remaining attached to the creature, drill it down, it can take a while.
One of the mushroom tree forests has a lot of small lithium lying around.
The lost river has a lot more ambiant lighting than the Jellyshroom cave, you won't have any lighting problems there.
Seriously, for the base, build yourself a nuclear reactor and its rods...
I know you don't like maneuvering the Prawn, but having the drill and grapple means you will be able to mine ressources in situ instead of bringing them all with you. It's much more convenient to build a base in the Cove Tree cave which has tons of ressources lying around, including big Titanium outcrops.
Table Coral is one of the only ressources that you have to bring with you from the Shallows, they are rare elsewhere.
The little triangle sign just means, that you can't use the commands because the engine is powering up, that's all.
The best way to enter the Lost River with the Cyclops is to go there via the big trench you are so afraid of ! Don't forget to use navigation cameras to better get a sense of how to maneuver inside it, it can be tricky.
The radar only shows you dangerous creatures to the sub. Stalkers are not a threat to it nor are sandsharks or bonesharks. Crabsquids attack the Cyclops but cannot really damage it. The dots go yellow when they are going away from you, red when they are approaching you. Usually it's Warpers, Crabsquids or Leviathans.
Bipping occurs when you are close to terrain and remember that the hit box extends to the catch zone of the vehicle bay...
That's why the most useful camera is the Keel one, then comes the Screw one and the least used is the conning tower.
If you want to better see outside from the cockpit view, switch off internal lighting. Or use cameras.
WHat you should do is park the Cyclops at the entrance of the cave and continue with the Prawn, that would allow you to mine ressources into the green brine, and scout the area for how to enter the Cyclops into the cave.
The Ghostie seems to not register your presence in the tree, that's a relief, and it's busy hunting cave prawlers too for good measure so it's pretty budy.
If you bandon the sub while in the presence of leviathan, switch off everything, lights, engines, so its thermal and noise signatures are zero and repair what you can to have it full HP. Also take all valuables with you if possible, modules so you don't lose them (except the depth module if the accident occurs beneath the basic crush depth) so you won't have to remake them.
Repairing works on the exterior just like repairing holes in base hulls.
Also, always save the game before you go in an expedition with the Cyclops so you can reload if you are stuck, it will be a life saver for you. Some people like the challenge to salvage desperate situations but that's not what you want, I guess.
Using shield and silent running is also why you should have engine Efficiency module AND at least six spare PowerCells in one of the Cyclops storage compartments.
Yeah the game pyshics is wonky at times...
You hate the drifting after you release the arm? Just use the drift to get you over ledges by releasing the grapple eariler while you are going up with the thrusters. The Grapple will act as a pivot and reorient your trajectory forward while you are going up, that's how you get over ledges. It's just a question of timing.
Picking things up only work if you take off the arm improvements.
If you could get Ghostie stuck into the trees, that would be good.
In case of starvation emergency, remember that Gel Sacks are edible. They don't give you much but there are a ton of those down there. It can give you a little bit water too.
Worst case scenario get back to your previous save if you can...

Twp choices really. Tale the prawn suit down further and exit through a different entry point, get powercells for tje cyclops and rescue the cyclops. Or take a battery from the prawn suit and dokk tjeborawn suit in tje cyclops, take tje remaining battery of tje prawn suit and use those two batteries to limp the cyclops back towards the surface. You may have to seaglide a bit if the batteries from the prawn suit, in the cyclops, runs out. Fetch, or charge the power cells, and rescue the cyclops.
Last step, learn to use the prawn suit and use it to go deep. It is safer than the prawn suit due to its speed, which allows it to escape most big things, and if not, it can take a few hits.
While tje cyclops can be taken down to the depths, it requires planning, and knowledge of the best routes to take due to its size, and a lot of patience as you cannot move very fast. Spare powercells is a must, along with certain upgrades.
Simply, the prawn suit is far more equipped for going deep. The only bad thing is that it has no sonar.

Took me a couple of days to be able to watch this one (sorry - busy!)
And I have to say, it was kind of heartbreaking to watch.
You've had lots of advice - some of it actually good, too. I'm not going to repeat most of it, but I will just mention a few highlights if I may:
Calm down and don't panic - time to stop and think is important. (You largely held it together during some difficult moments, which a few short weeks ago would have utterly broken you, I'm sure. Good job.)
You probably need to pay a little more attention to details (like not letting your base run out of power, making sure your batteries are charged, making sure you have the right arms fitted, and torpedoes if you use them, keeping track of your power usage on your vehicles... lots to worry about!)
Personally, I don't like the torpedo arm - torps have limited utility, are difficult to hit with, take up inventory space. The drill does decent damage, should you wish to do it (I believe the punch has a slightly higher dps, but it's harder to do repeated damage with it.)
Enhanced jump is so worth it. The PRAWN is actually really good once you get used to it - and it's much tougher than the Seamoth (and can go deeper too, which matters.)
Once you've got the Cyclops repaired, charged, and moving safely again, you' feel better, I'm sure.

Prawn suit is actually faster than the Seamoth if you learn how to operate it.
Jump Jet ugprade for the Prawn is the best thing. Torpedoes are pretty much pointless.
The grapple jump movement is key and makes it go really fast. You jump just as your grapple pull you forward then release the grapple. Manipulating the jump jet during this will then allow you to glide forward at pretty high speeds once you've mastered it.
Cyclops is damaged on the outside. The hologram shows where the holes are. If it keeps flooding it will eventually get destroyed.
Piloting the Cyclops takes some practice and use of all 3 cameras. You can actually get the Cyclops down that hole/drop you found, it's just a bit tight.

Geting Cyclop into lost river is a good idea, but you chose the worst possible way. The only plus of that hole is that its close to cove tree. In my opinion the best way to get into lost river is through blood kelp zone South-Southwest from your main base

    Steps i would take:
Relax, your going to die a few times but you already died a few times, your invincible in a way ;)
Take the powercells from Gandar, put these in Ducky.
Get out and repair Ducky, creatures do NOT attack the Cyclops when you are NOT in it.
    Get in and go UP
When attacked, get out asap and repair Ducky (Ducky can and will explode when severely damaged)
Get back in and go UP and Backwards.
    Breathe ..... youre safe now.

Lol, don't think I've ever seen anyone flip the cyclops as bad as this 😂 Anywho, not all is lost. I don't think it is even possible to damage the cyclops by ramming into the terrain but there will be a lot of clanging. So don't be afraid to squeeze it through the lost river.
Also yellow on the hologram to the right of the helm means the "threat" is near but not yet attacking. If you turn off the engine before the markers turns red the leviathans will ignore you. They can still push you around a bit but it won't really harm the cyclops. If it's already attacking (red) it will finish the attack run then move on, provided you turned off the engine. That might have been why the cute little ghostie got stuck in the first place. Engine was on when you ran out of power.
Use the shield generator for very short periods only or it'll eat up the power, as you found out. Same goes for silent running.
So, chin up. Head back to base in Gander, craft 6 power cells, plop them in Duckie and get on your merry way 😅
Pro tip: if you look closely at the hologram when the engine is on, the blue orb is your sound profile. Notice how it changes size when moving at different speeds. Any yellow nasties inside that will charge, outside of that they won't bother you. So low speed will shrink the orb, and turning off the engine will remove it altogether. Use that to your advantage.

I agree 100% in the idea that the prawn is inferior. People hyperfocus on the gimmicks it provides (drilling and strong defense), but I'd prefer the maneuverability and reliability of the seamoth any day. Its a shame the game somewhat forces you to abandon it at some point in favour of the prawn.

Fabricate a radio, record the following and transmit on repeat:
“Mayday, mayday, mayday! This is Captain VahLanayru of the Cyclops medium-submersible _Ducky._ My craft has become entangled in dense vegetation at a depth of 600 meters near the northernmost entrance to a submarine cave system called the Lost River-coordinates attached. My vessel has lost all power and is taking water. Oxygen is running low, but I have an unlimited supply of Marblemelons. Please attempt a rescue. If you need supplies, you'll find my base below the partially-constructed launch pad located west of the wreck of the _Aurora._ An upgraded Seamoth- _Goose_ -is docked in one of its moonpools. His storage should contain everything you need to effect a search-and-rescue operation-either that or a couple of completely rotted Marblemelons. Did I mention that I like Marblemelons? So delicious, so versatile! I even like saying the word Marblemelons. _Marblemelons!_ Much better than Lantern-fruit. Blech! I put Lantern-fruit in my bioreactor.
“Anyway, I realize that it may be years before this message is received. If it's... too late... for a rescue, then I bequeath my base and all it contains to you-may it aid your survival on 4546B. Please release any surviving specimens from the containment tank. And if you should find a somewhat bewildered Cuddlefish still haunting about those precincts, her name is Clara-she's waiting for me to come home. Try to make her understand that I won't be coming-that I can't-but that I love her very much, and that I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye before I left...”

      *Journey to Lost River*
      A Subnautica Odyssey
Through red grass and blood-kelp zone-
Though I'd rather be at home-
I take my Cyclops for a ride,
_Holy sh*t! it's on its side!_
My navigation has gone all f*cky,
What the hell is wrong with Ducky?
Is that a Ghostie that I spy,
From the corner of my weather eye?
He's swallowed me up and turned me over,
God damn this thrice-cursed bottom rover!
I'll have to wait 'till he sh*ts me out,
Before I again turn right about.
Meantime refuge I'll seek in Gander,
If over this bulkhead I can clamber.
I can jump but I cannot stoop,
Why does this locker smell like poop?
My power cells are out of juice,
Why oh why didn't I come in Goose?
With power gone I'm turning blue,
      As I'm poisoned by CO2.
“Khajiit has wares if you have coin,”
So a Skyrim reference do I join
To this poem, already too long,
What by rights has gone so wrong?
      Lantern-fruit and Marblemelons!
Sea Traders have poop to sell-ons!
My brain is turning all to mush,
As waters into my Cyclops rush.
To fix the hull I now must hasten,
As freezing water starts to chasten.
My vision blurry; do mine eyes fool?
Is this the repair or the laser tool?
By Poseidon's Trident and Ariadne's Crown,
      I think I'm going to f*cking drown!
      I wish I'd never built this sh*t,
What a waste of lead and wiring kit!
      The situation is looking grim,
As my vision starts to dim.
But I'll stare Death down in his face,
And hope to hell I spawn back at base.

Remove torpedo arm so you can defend yourself/grab items with the Prawn > go get food and water from the Cyclops and maybe repair it > go home with the Prawn and learn how to use it in the process > grab 8-10 power cells > come back to Cyclops with the Prawn (Goose is obsolete at this depth and in such dangerous places) > don't drive through trees anymore

i mean i've told you many times not to take the cyclops deep lol i mean you can but it's so much effort for no good reason. prawn suit is capable of anything and lost river is full of resources, so you only need a handful of stuff from the surface, you can even find table corals in lost river. i doubt you'll read this but if you do, the way you're using the grapple arm is a bit flawed. you need to latch on to stuff near and once you get to the maximum speed or get close to where you latched it on, you should stop latching. you gotta use the momentum. also you can use drill arm for safety, not as effective as the seamoth zap but it's still a great alternative.

    • @elfametesar632
      @elfametesar632 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

Take the most important items from Cyclops and put in the Prawn Suit and go down that steep waterfall thingy, that's where the cove tree is. Gather more resources with the drill arm if necessary, you'll pretty much find almost everything you need down there anyway. if you need something from the surface, you can go back up with the Prawn Suit. Just make sure to use the grappling arm right. Latch on and stop latching before you get to the spot you latched on and find another spot ahead, repeat. Use jetpack during. If you run out of jetpack fuel and you're climbing, latch on to the wall, wait for it to refill and continue

    1:31 Hello! Hello?
Now that we have solved the ladder issue 17:45, let's dive in the rest of your worst case scenario.
Yeah, the picking up does not work so well without energy⚡. But that tells us only, that you are very ressourceful with energy ⚡production.
1:45 "Alterra" is the name of the colonisation corporation you work for. Deriving from alt(ernative) terra (=earth), instead of "Altera", the company in real life working under intel.
Since Alterra seems to be more of a monopolistic and scarvengering company, I think it is not recommended to get too emotional with their A.I. But you are the one with the choice naming your computer voice.
2:10 You remembered 🤗*proud* 8:53 Oh thank god you knew where to look for!
2:52 I personally have a notebook with me all the time, I just... I understand you. 5:34 Behind your face. 5:52 Learning!
3:09 Good think you looked again, so no double drillarm! But don't worry, this happens to everybody, nobody is perfect.
3:24 You know, some say Subnautica was a horror game and thinking about it, if somone took your gamefile and you are there now, the light flickers and goes off and you walked to the power station, just to find it broken and some slimy footsteps leading towards the moonpool. It's getting as dark as in those wrecks and your flashlight is empty too. and then you hear a knock, the front hatch closing and a dying computer voice saying "W... elc..come...Ca..crrr...captauoon...!" and some wet steps, like those of a huge frog-like creature through the dark corridors behind you. 😂😂😂
3:36 Carefully explaining the plan to your vehicles and heading off 3:44 to another joyful journey. Does not strike me as an unpleasant day!
3:56 Yeah well. Batteries 🔋🔋. That's is always a GOOD THING to have an EYE ON, isn't it? 👀 *watching previous episodes again* "Next time on 10:16!" They are only empty if the station has no power⚡ or they start to grow a mould inside of your backpack. Just like cooked fish would.
    4:05 Chapell Roan 🎶 would be proud 🎶🎵 6:29, 9:55, 10:15
4:20 "Keep for a rainy day" 7:24 "You don't look a gifted horse into the mouth." An old German proverb, saying if something comes free, don't judge on it, be glad and take it.
4:34 Do you even see how cassual you dive into these caves nowadays? Even though it is not so bright down there.
And if you would take this 50%-rule to the heart, (meaning at 50% 0² there is no more yoinking and strolling around, but without a detour heading straight for the next 0² supply), then you would not have any more problems with drowning.
5:23 What a coin-cidoink that you kept the other one "for a rainy day"!

6:39 I think it would be worth, but *shrug* You are the one to choose Goose 🦢 for your tomb, when diving into the jelly shrooms. 8:37
7:10 I think having watched the end of this episode already, I would say don't take him there, except if you decide to leave him there for mining big chunks, take the material up and build a second one for the lost river. But we will come to that later.
    14:18 Nevermind.
7:38 "Why do I never learn?" It's a nice quote, but I think you have learned a lot already. Apart from that: Didn't you leave Goose 🦢at the entrance for orientation?
7:50 But do you see the little shallow steps on the way down in the side of the wall? Keep them in mind! Better angle: 7:53
8:09 Trailer of Subnautic 2 talk! I think it is incredible how some people are already starting to question and doubt and rage and conspirate about this short trailer instead of enjoying it and being excited! Some peasants are always pitchinforking and torching, no matter what you give them.
    9:30 Music like "Fable"?
9:44 "Torpedos!" You know, because this might come up later, you need to manually put the torpedos in the arm from the outside of Gander 🦢.
    10:25 Okay Gander 🦢 instructions.
You can press and hold the jump button 🕹, but this draines the purple 🟪 bar on the right. The jet 🚀 boost extention gives you longer and more powerful energy here.
If you are falling and activate the 🚀boost, the jets first have to slow down your down⤵-wards momentum, meaning you only go down ⬇ slower instead of up ⬆ again. This means the jet 🚀is best used if you already have an ⬆🆙-ward momentum.
You do not take fall damage in Gander.
If you use this momentum of Gander right, you can wait for this little upward moment for example after you land and his knees are bouncing a little or while running forwards ➡ to catch the peak of this ⤴motion to engage the 🚀boost again, given you have energy left. It loads back up the moment you disengage it, (in contrast to BelowZero, where you have to stand somewhere to load up the purple 🟪 bar).
10:46 "Okay you are right: Aw, stop it! Lana can't do that, silly...🦢 - Should I real..?" - "Just write it down, goddamnit, like it says on the paper!"
10:55 Good that we have established that, because you can also switch the positions if you like.
11:05 To check out the reach, I can only encourage training and guessing. I wonder how Spiderman does this in between swings. So how does he know if the web is still reaching the next building?
11:08 Spooderman says "Go!"? I thought those are the Teen Titans and Inspector Gadget.
11:16 I think Spooderman should have stayed to train this upward momentum I mentioned above with the ⚓⛓hook. So engaging is not a big deal, but letting go at the right moment and starting the 🚀boosters is not so easy.
12:51 You beg to differ. That one was not bad at all!
    13:07 That was worse.
13:36 Yes. Training and the fact, that if you keep this sardine can close to a wall and the drill at hand, no creature is going to want to bite you.
11:50 The way you enter the lost river later, by the big entrance near the lifepod it is not so steep for gander, a way to easily get down and up again.
12:00 Gander 🦢is a tank. Really, he can take a few hits. And you have the drillarm. if you hold down on the button, the creatures are going to take damage and they don't like that and they fv[& off! It's like the knife in a knight's armour. You can also punch with the normal arm and deal some damage.
12:14 Keep in mind for drilling: Don't get frustrated too fast, the drill needs some time for the first 2 ingots. You can usually get 8-12 of them out of one chunk block and they are usually transfered right into your storage, except when this is full. But you will get a mark on the top left. Sometimes you can see one or two ingots tumble away or the drill stop hitting the chunk, but just step a little to one side or towards it and you'll be fine.
The drilling does make a lot of noise, on the other hand the smaller creatures cannot even damage Gander 🦢seriousely, so who cares? But you are at your will of Gander 🦢's drill!
12:40 13:04 Then I got sad news for you in BelowZero, but I guess you have heard already.
13:47 Did you not have some flares somewhere in your life pod originally?
14:04 Now I can wrap that up: 7:10, 7:50 and 7:53: This is the way to get in and out of those holes with Gander 🦢. If you have the jet booster extension, it's a bit easier, but the way it works is the same. Hook ⚓⛓, Boost🚀, (l)edge 🦔 (okay, this is a (h)edge(hog), but I couldn't find another picture. Pleas be kind to it.).
14:18 Congratulations, you did that one well!
    🦢🦢🐤🦆🦢🦢
14:25 Let's wrap it up here and put some things into proportion:
Goose ♀🦢 is fast 39,5 km/h (to 68,9 km/h, when pressing two directions + up/down), so the lights are up front. But it cannot take much damage. 300 to be precise. (+ 50% with each hull reinforcement)
Gander ♂🦢 is slow 23km/h and afflicted by gravity. Resistance to damage 600 (+ 50% with each hull reinforcement). It is mostly built for mining, that's why the lights reach into the working area of your drill and arms. And he cannot be harmed by fish or ceilings or anything you run into. (I count that as a huge plus, considering your delicate handling with Goose 🦢)
    Ducky 🦆can be slow and fast. Slow: 14,4 km/h, Standard: 21,6 km/h ahead, up to 68,4 km/h with two directions + up/down.
But here is what I found: "The interior and exterior illumination does not consume energy. Exiting the vehicle will not disable the engine, and the lights will remain in whatever state the player left them in." That was different in earlier versions and I know that I once found my Cyclops drained near my base, because I forgot to switch off something I don't recall anymore, so this can happen.
But it has 1500 resistance, the first 300 of which can be absorbed without hull damage and replenish slowly. The energy shield generator makes it unvulnerable, but only while standing completely still and it costs energy.
And it is bigbigbighuge and sometimes hard to manoeuvre.
    🦢🦢🐤🦆🦢🦢
14:32 Subtle Foreshadowing! lanaLol Usually I am not a big fan of all the new trends, but I feel this epic or subtle foreshadowing, if applied descretely can give some of those old fail videos another kick 😄
14:59 🐟Branco the forgotten Boomerang 🐠 Or Barney? Idk, I think a Boomerang should have an Aussie name!
15:07 No. They will create themselves, look at 9:44 "Torpedos!"
15:30 Yeah, it says Torpedos only when you have to make them yourself 🤪😆🤡
Put put the other arm in Gander's 🦢storage, that way you can change if you need to.
15:44 It feels almost like the editor of this video wants to say something to the character playing. Ominous!
But there is a hull reinforcement, it's the same as for Goose 🦢.
15:44 It feels almost like the editor of this video wants to say something to the character playing. Ominous!.

      16:08 Start basic 🏚: Some room, or tube 🧪, some power⚡ and a hatch🚪.
You can add the rest later.
If you want to bring items there, you will need a locker.
You can even skip fabricator and locker first, but with power and hatch, you can have at least oxygen.
      And the rest is self-explanatory.
The transmitters help connecting the thermal station (which goes near the hot spot outside) to your base if it is more than 100 m away.
      1x Tube 🧪: 2 Titanium
      1x Hatch🚪: 1 Titanium + 1 Quartz
      1x Thermal Plant 🌡⚡: 5 Titanium, 2 Magnetite and 1 Aerogel
      1x Transmitter⚡: 1 Titanium, 1 Gold
That is the basic for 9 Titanium, 1 Quartz, 2 Magnetite, 1 Aerogel, 1 Gold
      Next 🏠:
      (1x Multipurpose room: 6 Titanium
      1x Locker: 2 Titanium, 1 Quartz
1x Fabricator: 1 Titanium, 1 Gold, 1 Tablecoral (⚠They don't grow down there, so if you need some, bring some.)
      Additional 9 Titanium, 1 Quartz, 1 Gold, 1 Tablecoral.)
Anything additionally to get to your 🏰:
Hull reinforcements or Foundations cost Lithium and Led
      🚧🚧🏗🚧🚧
18:34 I believe this is just the symbol for the engine powering up. Yellow triangles for fire and attack are between the energy ⚡ and noise 📶bar.
      18:45 "Shit was that a whale? - What's that? - ... I am so sorry!"
20:01 Because the damage from smaller creatures is covered by this 20% auto-replenishing shield, I told you about.
20:49: There is no reaper there. You can literally vertically 📐perpendicularly position Ducky🦆above the lifepod 2 signal and then slowly decend all the 500 m down and only need minor adjustments to the sides.
I am gonna take a break here, because TH-cam does not like longer comments, I am on a schedule and I think we have reached the point in the video, to which I would consider it pretty darn good.
So for you to enjoy and the (probably not so enjoyable) rest to come later, here you go, dearest VahLanayru!

Edit #1 don't trust chat. #2 can you get to the lost river in the cyclops 300% yes but extra powercells are a must, and panic needs to be left at home. hint best way for Lana is #1 cyclops to where she feels comfortable going the rest of the way in gander or just taking gander. hint there are enough resources in the lost river and surrounding area to make a base without having to drag too much with you. plus where you would put a base there are no ghosties ex; near the tree. sometimes you need to work with your fear not against it. you should repair ducky because you may loose ducky if you don't, trust me I lost 3 cyclopses to leviathans , go back and get cells and food and remember there are quite a few ways into lost river. ghost leviathans can die gander has the solution but you have to grab on with grappel and drill away and if you don't feel confident doing that don't because its easy but not for a thelassaphobe with a built in panic defense. {sorry} And lastly " if it's loud in your mind, just take your time, its going to be ok" jump down that hole

You clearly needed a breather after this. pause the game once in a while so you can cool down and think straight.
