Dear Ken, I am so very sorry to read of your loss. Yes, these getting older years bring lots of changes, the effects of sin in our bodies either by our own mistakes or just this fallen world. May you find grace to help in this time of trouble, and as the Pastor here recommended, fill your home with Jesus by music, Scripture, and prayer! I love you! See you in the clouds. Hopefully soon!

I've learned a great deal about my faith since I began listening to you. Tonight however, as basic as it may sound to many people, I learned the true meaning of baptism. I was baptized as an infant in the Methodist church and have always thought I was good to go. Guess not. I have to add that to my bucket "short list".

I was baptized as an infant in the Methodist church too. My thought is that we were dedicated to the Lord at that moment and so he kept an eye on us till now. Makes me feel special.

I've lived in my current home in central Connecticut for 38 years. We have all kinds of birds especially pigeons that frequent our bird platform feeders. This spring is the first time I've seen a white pigeon... absolutely beautiful. Not a dove, but a pigeon. So funny you mentioned one. I'm believing that to be a sign that Jesus' is coming soon. 😀

I’ve never thought about that the Lord could cause a relationship to sour to move you on. So interesting. Some of us are pretty loyal and will stick to the bitter end, even when we feel the tugging on our heart to move on.

Don’t you think John The Baptist was an Essene priest. In the Essene teaching John follows is about one crying in the wilderness.

We are as New Testamental/ church age believers SEALED by / with the Holy Spirit. He CANNOT ever leave us again, that's why we are told to not grieve Him.
If we sin as believers and do not repent it will hinder our growth/ walk with Christ. But it is NEVER a salvation issue if we are born again "fleshly living" believers sinning without repenting.
Living that stubborn way has serious consequences- check Lot in the Old Testament!
    Don't be alot like Lot!

I kinda think Paul was a bit of a narcissist, I bet he was hard to get along with at times and if you didn’t agree with him he probably didn’t want you there. It’s amazing how God used these men and women with their personalities to His benefit.

    • @christiantaylor9200
      @christiantaylor9200 ปีที่แล้ว

I'm just guessing, but I tend to think that Paul's "thorn in the flesh" was a personality or emotional issue. Again, I'm just speculating.🙂

Brett spoke a lot about this in another sermon, but the short answer was no. 😊
Baptism isn’t a salvation issue, just a good proclamation of your faith.

Believers it's time to get serious, Revelation 3:14-22 is real! Have you answered the knock? We are sharing this warning message as a comment to all posts of a Christian nature.
As God said, it is foolishness to non-believers, and we understand that.
Believers, though, know it is wisdom from God.
Last Days Message-Have You Read God's Word & Seen Similarities Between The Pharisees & Leaders Today? God is all powerful and still will give us that power, if we still believe and allow God to work in us. Many leaders believe and teach that God's power went away when the last apostle died. Yet God's word says to stay away from those that have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof. Other leaders believe that they can make appointments with the Holy Spirit to perform at their conference, or even worse, have the audacity to tell us they can teach us the power that belongs to God thru the power of the Holy Spirit. God's power is given to us as He desires, and that power cannot be dredged up when man desires. Just like the pharisees, the institutional church added things, and took things away, that they wanted to, instead of staying strictly with the entire word of God. Why? Why is God's word not enough? The world and its workings do not belong, at all, in God's church. We are not called to fit in with the world, tax exempt status, holidays and other worldly things should not be in God's church. Until we purify the institutional church of unbiblical ways, we are not pleasing God, we are doing what we want and not what God wants. Leaders are always talking about their ideas of God, but God is looking for leaders that will allow Him to speak through them with His anointing. How does God speak to His people when He has been pushed out? Prepared services do not allow God to interrupt to speak what He wants. So how does God speak? His word is considered the living word, yet believers continually buy books written by man, for man's profit, so believers miss out on the supernatural words He wants to give His people through the reading of His word. The blind are leading the blind. It is time for believers to ask God to removes the scales from our eyes. Be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the power of God's word, not the writings of man. Amos 8:11 and Matthew 24:10 are signs that are happening now, so Matthew 24:42 should become important to all believers. Look these scriptures up for yourself and let God reveal Himself to you.
Religion created by man and traditions of man are not of God. If it is not in God's word, get rid of it. God is not referring to driving a car or things like that, this refers to how we worship and serve God. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near.
Please take the time to listen to this video to get the full warning message.
