Dear Professor, I am from Egypt and I am 49 years old. I intend to start learning programming with you, and this is the most important and biggest challenge in my life. I have never experienced success in my life, but I have not given up. I will go through the experience and I hope to experience success with you. Thank you very much I wish everyone success
Dear Sir, for first two three weeks, I was doubting if its really gonna help me in the way I want or not, but after reaching to the 9th chapter in which you recall a phrase from the first chapter "Its all gonna make sense eventually" I really felt that I did something with what I learnt in form of little blocks. The way you teach is really exceptional. Idk if its gonna reach to you or not but "Thank you Sir" Regards
Greetings, Dr. Severance. Thank you for making these lessons, they are incredibly well-crafted. This is quite a gift to people like me who are beginners in programming but don't have the finances for a university course to get started.
I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful course. Your course material is also being used in a python course offered by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, which is one of the best institutions in our country. They have acknowledged your contribution throughout. It just goes to show how much your work is valued.
Dear Sir, My ChatGPT recommended you and I am glad to be here. I know literally nothing about programming, so far, it goes over my head. Time to hold it in. I look forward to an exciting time. Thank you in advance sir.
Hello Dr. Sev. Took your 2.7 course on Coursera. Updating myself to 3.5 using your book. Really love your work and your enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing all of it with us.
Thanks Dr Chuck for the interesting course introduction. I'm studying your course offered in Future Learn and the TH-cam videos are very helpful to go through the course materials again.
Thank you so much. I started taking the python course on futurelearn. they said no previous knowledge needed and then we were thrown into an exercise in chapter 5 without any background. doing it on my own and reading the text from the start plus your videos is more helpful then i can go back and get the certificate there.
Just started the free version of edX course Python for Beginners today. I was an Animation & Video Game Design major who has difficulties with math because of a TBI. Hoping to understand this class and have taken, passed C++.
Thanks Professor Chuck. You are really doing a great job by disseminating knowledge. I was watching your old python videos and I was really curious for new versions because old ones are not working in Python 3.0. I am really glad to see the new videos. I was in Umich in 2014 and I like the Umich Ann Arbor.
Thank you Chuck for the lessons. I'm coming from Coursera and these classes will be a big help in transiting from Codeskulptor to a more commonly used gui.
Hi, drchuck I am Ali Adam I would like to thank you for the programming for everyone (Getting Started with Python) for what I have benefited from this course as I started to enter the world of programming through this course I would like to ask you to write a letter of recommendation to me because I will apply for the Turkish Scholarship for engineering and computer science .. Thank you
Hello Charles sir, thanks for great tutorials on python , becoz of covid 19 or corona i got a chance to learn ur course from coursera for free , the way u teach is awesome, more over assignments are worthy and the techno music is epic every time when u interview a tech gaint
I am in the process of recording the new versions so it wil take a month or two before all the recordings are Python 3.0. But they should move quickly now.
That is fixed in the slides and will be fixed the next time I record the videos. We could have a prize for the person who finds the most Python 2.0 mistakes in my converted lectures :)
hello sir and happy new year...i just want to know after this course where should i wrtite the exam ? i can be talented but the employers need sometimes to see the certificate. thanks
i am a complete begginer and eventually i want to become a developer. do you think its worth it with the AI getting better and better each day? i am really afraid that i ll waste my time to learn something that the ai will do x10 faster. will ai in your opinion be a tool for developers or it will take their place
