PS - Hope local schools take some time and educate students about various aspects of this project and how the community made the decision to remove the dam and what are the expected results.
I think it would be a cool idea, because there is a lot of STEM going into this and enviromental studies. Even archaeologists are interested in the site. It would be awesome to see this motivate people into these fields of work.

They need to set a goal. Remove one dam from each state ever year. Dams serve no purpose
